| This is a really short show in which a lot happens but it's so quick you can't quite make much sense of it..or maybe there isn't much sense to it :P.
the "plot" goes something like this , a young girl, daugther of a doctor that made some discovery and got killed by the militarty for it, is on the run and by chance crosses paths with the "Pet Shop Hunters"(???) a squad led by Captn. Tita, which (i think) hunts animals, but they end up saving the world for some reason...
the plot is really nonsense...music i can't remember...animation was actually pretty nice and i dig the character designs...very nice :)..but these two things are the only reasons to watch this show IMHO.
If you like pretty girls and lots of cheap excuses to show their boobs, you may want to watch this show, but there's nothing really notorious about this show apart from it's name(?) and the hot gals.

| An action anime that even falls short of mediocreness despite a pretty good opening. Filled with fan service and a half-arsed plot, I lost my concentration so many times during this boring anime, that I totally lost track of what was going on. And you know what? I don't really care either. This turned out to be a waste of time. Good job this "film" is only 45 minutes long. In this truly unsatisfying film, nothing really stood out. The comedy was forgetable... I can't even remember a single joke they attempted. In fact I'm can barely remember whether it's a comedy or not. But the genre labelling on animenfo, I suspected it was, or at least it tried to be, heh. The story and characters were so ridiculously unoriginal, overused and one-dimensional that I got totally bored of them. It's your typical bad guy wants to destroy the world (I never did figure out the reason behind this) and a most unlikely group of "pet shop hunters" (rofl... I guess there might have been some originality in this after all) armed with state of the art equipment are out to stop them. What they did at the end in that tornado thing was also a puzzle, but I don't really care enough about it to try and puzzle it out. I was just glad this borefest was coming to an end lol. The characters also seemed effortless... and by that I mean the makers didn't seem to put any effort in making them interesting. Just a few overused tricks that you can find all over the place to try and make them more interesting. Well... they failed, as they didn't interest me at all.
The only thing spectacular about this is the that is spectacularly unspectacular. If it's action anime you like, there are far better ones out there. Avoid!
PS and why the heck is this called plastic little anyway??

| This anime done in 1994 is actually quite good for something this old. The only problem is that it really shows its age but it still manages to hold your attention to it. The real star is the animation. The only reason why you want to watch it is the animation. This anime does contain some frontal nudity like photon

| Well, a pretty basic anime film...looks more like the introduction to a bigger series but unfortunetly it's just a film.
What I liked is that it doesn't try to do anything grand. A pure action/echi film with some good moments and jokes.
The animation was basic...nothing really interesting except for a bit of a chase at one point which really adds some delight to the film.
Sound...basic as well...plain and uninspired...the voices ain't that great either.
Well, the story had potential. The universe in which the action is set is something to remember. A world floating on clouds and creatures hunted for collectioners...very interesting...Unfortunetly it focuses on the ancient cliche: bad guy wants girl who is key to master plan...woopty doo. It evolves as anyone would expect, with no real twists in the story so it's not surprising at all.
The characters are an interesting bunch. Besides the dumber than dirt blond girl who is hunted by bad guy, Tifa and the others are quite enjoyable. Tifa especially...there are some great echi scenes which can derive into comedy("DIE!")...
The bad guy...well, he couldn't get any more stereotypical...hood, cape, nassty atitude...yeap...bad guy supreme.
I have to say that I watched this anime twice because I enjoyed it...there are some nice action scenes and if you can ignore the anime-stereotype-couple in becoming of Tifa and what's-her-face...the anime is quite enjoyable.

| This is just a nice Satoshi Urushihara anime. If you know his work, it's just plain pretty. So it gets a 10 on animation, but i'm sure it's not the best i've seen, but it sure is damn pretty. There's not much to this anime, action, comedy, fan service, just plain fun. not a lot of substance, but it doesn't shoot for that. If it accells at anything, it is its animation. The way it uses its medium to present to us a fabulous world of a sea of clouds, kool ships, nice action, hero saves the girl and gets out a live against impossible odds. So basic
Basic Deal: Skin it down to its bones and it's been done so many times, but don't, and you have a very beautiful and pretty dose of a lot fun and kool action. Worth d/l, worth buying at 10 bucks if you like it. i got it at 18, oh well.

| Plastic Little was pretty good. It has great animation and a decent story. The animation was good because of the great character designs. Besides that it wasn't impressive but still good. The acting wasnt bad but the music was just average. But this is another OVA that I think should have been longer. It should have been a movie because a whole series would have been to long. The characters werent bad but only the 2 main characters really got any development. The action scenes were good but there wasnt too much to them. There just wasn't much room for charcater or plot development.

| Yet another fanservice series (movie in this case). Nothing special about this movie at all. Characters all suck, plot is terrible. Only good thing about it is the animation. If you want some good laughs the ADV release of it has a jiggle counter. I think the jiggle counter is self explainitory. Well, if you to young to buy hentai and want to see some tits, theres a 3 minute bath scene. I guess thats worth checking out... thats bout it. Nothing to see here folks move along!!

| I really liked this movie, great animation, and had some really cool submarine/space-ship designs. The only complaint I have is that they obviously had more to cover then they could have in 45 minutes. I think it shoulda been a 6 episode OVA or something, that would be pretty cool. Also that would fit better with the "adventures of captain tita" subtitle, mostly because they could have more then one adventure. Sadly that most likely won't happen, and all we'll get is this nifty movie.

| Another great shortish movie which I happened to pick up only because of its name.
A lot of things take place in short time, keeping the viewers interested all the way to the end. The counterpart is that there isn't too much time to build up any of that sentimental stuff, making people forget about the movie very quickly after finishing it.
The animation is a killer. The best one I've seen in a while. Very smooth and colorful. The sounds are clear and without any flaws, just the basic stuff. Most the characters are left very shallow, but that's definitely because of the short length of the movie. I really think that this should have been like two times longer so that you could have been able to 'get to know' more about the characters. But then again, if it's just about characters history and background, it would probably feel very forced. 9 for the developments in the character relations and short, but still good, introductions of the bunch of new characters.
The story is intensive and interesting. Some bonus points for keeping the action on the ground and not taking it into space. Minuses for short length, which lead to the most of the problems I noticed about this movie, AND for messing around too much with boobies. Small amount is OK, of course, but this went way over the needed fan service for this kind of movie. There's not too much of a humor here, but it didn't leave me even craving for it. There's plenty of it elsewhere.
If you're thinking of getting this one, I definitely recommend you to do so. At least the great animation is worth checking out. But the sad truth is, that Plastic Little is going to disappear from the back of your head as soon as you start watching something else after it. Though it's not an effort or anything to review it with your friend or so sometime later. 47 minutes of intense action.

| Plastic little was one of the first anime that I watched, and the level of artistic detail, and high quality animation rivals that of anything done in the industry today. Truly a masterpiece at hand. The only gripe I had was the length, as I would've liked it to be an hour and 30min as opposed to the 45min oav. However it stays true to the manga's characters and is an entertaining ride througout.

| I'm going to let you in on a secret, I got a weak spot for lesbo-romantic movies, and also I got a weak spot for this kind of art-design. The sad thing about this anime is that one never get a real feeling of who the characters are, the music feel very out of place (I'd have more high-pace music in the final-showdown scene as an example). And sadly: this story have been done over and over and over again in so many, many flavours. Person-in-distress runs into hero-type-person. Hero-type-person helps person-in-distress. The thing that saves the plot from not sinking down to the lowest grate is the fact that the the person-in-distress and the hero-type-person happen to be both female and STILL grow some kind of romantic bond between each other.

| This was an interesting Anime OVA. Rather short and sweet. For the actual length of the Anime, I have to admit, it wasn't that bad. It actually surprised me; I was expecting a lot worse.
Though, it was not without its faults by no means. There was very little character depth other than Tita and Elysse, and those two could have been better. Most of the characters in this series were pretty much "just there".
Tha animation was gorgeous, but the story was weak and shallow.
Watch if you are desperate for an action Anime or to see some boobs, you freaks!

| First off it should be noted that I love Satoshi Urushihara's art style. His skill at drawing cute anime girls is unequaled. Plastic Little is fanservice central, with top notch animation to boot. Past the fanservice aspect of Plastic Little there is very little here. The animation is as I mentioned top notch, but the story is pretty standard. Thankfully Plastic Little manages to wrap its story up nicely in the 60 minutes though, and thus doesn't leave you with an empty unfinished feeling that seems to be common in a lot of short OVA series. If your a fanservice junky like me you owe it to yourself to watch this one

Very pretty looking fan service, but the jiggle counter ADV was kind enough to include on the DVD gives away what this show is meant to do. the animation was very sharp, but the music was nothing remotely memorable. Nothing else stood out, since the story was predictable and the charaters were pretty srereotypical. Just lots of fan service. Watch if you like Agent Aika, Ikki-tousen, etc.

| This was the first anime I saw in its true form. After seeing it I thought to myself, is Japanese anime all breasts and no plot? I found that out soon enough. The animation in this thing is well ahead of its time but totally wasted. There's hardly any plot and it ended too quickly. Unless you like fanservice in abundance, stay away from this thing! If you value your time that is!

| All anyone ever remembers about this anime is the tits, and I have to admit, they're memorable as all get out. Whoever painted them really REALLY loved nipples. Still, this anime gets shorter shrift than it really deserves. The story is no stupider than most action anime, the characters are fun, and the animation isn't bad. Watch it for what it is. Plain dumb fun.
I don't know if it's still this way, but if there is one complaint it is that on my copy (VHS from I don't know how long ago), the subtitles are done white on black opaque strips. In the booby scenes that everone always talks about, they just about amount to censorship. Hopefully, any DVD release will fix this.

| Ah, a anime with a large bathtub populated with beautiful girls and a slide to boot! Urushibara really knows what a guy wants ^_^ Bounciness at its best. Take this for what it is, a short little watch that can be somewhat entertaining, especially for the guys. As you would expect, the strength of the show is the artwork with the characters. Urushibara might be the most gifted guy around when it comes to making attractive anime girls, and he won't dissapoint here. Clothed or nude, they look good. The story is mindless, as is most of the action scenes and comedy. Nothing memorable there. Don't even begin to delude yourself if you think there is depth to this show. If you're here to see a show with beautiful girl and a great bath scene all wrapped in the guise of an action/comedy show, then go ahead and give this a looksee.

| Definitely one of the best looking animes I have seen (and I've seen a LOT). I really like the animation, the way the characters are drawn (yay Satoshi Urushihara) and shiny rubbery female outfits =D.. Yup, it's a pretty ecchi OVA with some boobie action and the story is totally pointless, but it's still very enjoyable.

| Ja ja auch Plastic Little gehört zu meinen ersten Movies doch im Gegensatz zu Klassikern wie Akira war PL doch nur knapp oberstes Mittelmaß. Der Anime gibt vor Ecchi zu sein doch alles was man zu sehen kriegt sind mal kurz die Brüste der 2 (doch überaus hübschen) Girls was aber so manchen wohl schon zufrieden stellt. Doch ich liebe das Charackterdesign von Urushihara und deshalb kriegen die Chars auch ne 9 von mir ^__^ Alles in allem bleibt zu sagen das Plastic Little kurzweilig ist aber im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes.
