| First of all I have to say this about this anime: I've seen fewer pantys in a Victoria's Secret catalog than in Najica Blitz Tactics! The creators must have had a serious fetish with women's underwear to have a panty shot literally every 10 seconds on average. Every fight involved women fighting on at least one side, and usually we would see the girls underwear. As far as the action goes, this one isn't spectacular, but it is good. Basically, if you are looking for an anime that contains some action, decent story, and more ecchi content than a frat party over spring break, try this one!

| This is one of the harder series to reqlly quantify in a review. Anyone who looks at the revuews here quickly notes that there is one item which receives the bulk of the attention, and that all reviews seem to be colored by that issue. Yet, the series is both more... and less.
Najica is a series with a lot of promise. A good basic idea, with a main character who is unbelievable and yet has charm and presense. A mystery weaves its way through each episode as small tidbits of information are handed out and allowed to move the story to the next question.
It could have been a great series, but it misses. Not because of issues with presentation, but because the writers clearly lost the story. Everything is going well, but by the ending, you are wondering if anyone paid attention to the plot lines they were drawing, and more questions are left than answered. In a 12 episode series its not a complete shock, but it is unforgivable. The audience deserves a better ending.
As for the often mentioned "fanservice". Its there. there is no attempt to hide it or to explain it away, or to pretend that its not deliberate. It exists. Sometimes the sheer volume and trumpeting of it can be annoying. (I got a bit tired of the camera always seeming to be on the ground looking up.) But if you watch the characters faces and pay attention to the dialogue it is possible to ignore it.

| Panties. It's impossible to review Najica Blitz Tactics without mentioning it has numerous pantyshots every minute - more so than any other ecchi series ever made, I believe. With that out of my way, I can now continue with the review.
This is a combination of a traditional spy show and a fast-paced action series. Nothing wrong with that, but here it just doesn't work too well. The storylines are sloppy and the overall feeling of the series is "meh". Unlike other ecchi series where the nudity is used to enhance the visuals, here it just detracts. The action is not exciting and the moody scenes just put me to sleep.
A much better series of similar kind is 009-1, with smoother action, better storytelling & characters and sexier atmosphere with only a fraction of the pantyshots. You can find my review of 009-1 in my profile.

| Great series. Ecchi for those who want it without it being too obvious. Wait... no its very obvious. XD
Completely worth your time, its serious when it needs to be and funny when it doesnt.
Some loopholes in some of the scenes noticable by milatary nuts, but overall great watch.

| After watching the first episode, I was convinced this was going to be the worst anime of all time, and waited another 3 months before starting to watch the rest of the anime. However, once I started watching episode 2 I realized the anime was actually pretty decent once you got past the liberal use of panty shots.
The animation is decent, but for a anime this recent the animation isn't too great. The abundant panty shots also are a distraction (in a bad way) and really destroyed what could have been an above-average anime.
The soundtrack was good, I liked the mix of jazz, and it fit very well with the sense of "cool" the series was trying to portray.
The story was pretty pathetic, most of the episodes followed the same plot line, there was an overriding theme about the nature of the artificial humans, but it didn't amount to too much.
The characters were the best part about the series; I loved Lila, she reminded me of Kirika from Noir, one of my favorite anime characters. Najica herself was a bit stiff and not very fleshed out, but in the end I found myself likeing her character. The only downside here really is the propensity for the villians to be women who like to get knocked out in ways that optimize the panty shots.
The value of this anime is pretty low; I can't really imagine re-watching it; its similar enough to Noir that if I want to watch its genre I will just pick up Noir itself.
However, I did enjoy Najica: Blitz Tactics, and would reccomend it to people if they can look past the pointless and annoying abundance of panty shots.

| It should be noted that I saw Ikkitousen before I saw Najica, and after seeing Ikkitousen I was convinced that it was the King of panty shots... I was wrong! Dead wrong. Najica came out way before Ikkitousen and is still the undisputed champion of panty shots in my book. In a nut shell, Najica Blitz Tactics is 007 with panties, just like Agent Aika where they probably got most of their queues from. Like with Ikkitousen and Agent Aika, the writers were more concerned with where to stick in panty shots than character and story development. These guys really over did it because there are so many panty shots that it's near impossible to count. It just gets to be unnecessary and even a bit creepy. It's a shame really since the only thing that had me going with this series was the character development between Najica and Leela. The general concept of their development has been done already in other titles but it's actually done quite well. It obviously would've been better if they eased up on the panty shots. The series as a whole would've been a lot better if they lowered the panty shot count. The potential for a great story-line was there but is completely ruined by the unnecessary panty shots.
I really would not recommend buying this title despite the fact that I did. If you can rent it, do so. About the only thing of nominal value to me in this series is the commentary by the dub actresses Monica Rial and Kira Vincent Davis. It's complete nonsense and has no informational value at all but it was just a complete riot for me to hear two of my favourite VA's go at it.

| I just feel weird watching Najica Blitz Tactics. It's suppose to be an action anime, but with the panty shots every other minute, somehow I lost the connection between its ecchi and actions. The story seems to have a lot of potential too, but when it takes a backseat to the panty shots, all you'll ever remember from this anime is the ridiculous camera angles to show off the panties.
The animation is nice, and the producers took every angle possible to show the viewers all the white panties that every female in the anime has. You really have to tip your hat for them to try that hard to show you their panties... Sound is okay, you don't really feel the emotion from a lot of the seiyuu though, and the BGM is a rip-off those 007 genre.
The story has much potential, but it lacks so much depth that you could skip rocks over it. Even at the end, you really feel that there is no point at all to the story, everything seems to be in pieces and it lacks cohesion between episodes. The comedy slapstick sucks too.
There really is no character development at all in this anime, not even Lila and Najica. I was hoping there is much change in Lila in the series, but then at the end it just falls short of my expectation.
It just weird to recommend this anime, there are the panty shots, but I just never feel the "ecchiness" in them. The action looks cool, but that's about the high point of this anime.

I notice that people are comparing it to Agent Aika. About the only thing they have in common is lack of character development and lots of gratuitous panty shots. Aika has more panty shots per minute, but Najica has more panty shots in it.

| Najica Blitz Tactics was so-so. I can't say I hated this basic action/fanservice show, but I can't say I loved it either. I was expecting something along the lines of Noir and Madlax which I like , instead I got something between Burn Up and Labrynth of Flames. If you want to know more about this decent anime read on.

| Oh no... It's like watching Aika all over again! Najica looks like Aika, wears similar clothes and has a gun like Aika (and a female sidekick as well)! Amazing... Aika has a twin. Oh joy.
This is crap. It seemed to have an interesting story, but when the story comes in second, right after the 1000 panty shots per episode... well, people loose patience really. The character development is poor, the story is certainly not new and the panty shots - the main feature of this series - are very annoying. I have only two words to describe this (yeah, easy to guess)... FAN SERVICE.
No need to watch this. Go watch Aika. It's shorter. Better yet, do not watch either of them and choose some good anime.

| Love it! Since i'm always like ecchi in action. This one really hit the spot for me. The main character is really cool and I love it *_* Also the animation really good on this series. As most of you might get annoy for all the panties shots, I on other hand give these scenes credit to the directers and artiests in camaras anggles. I never get distract or even annoys from the panties, instead i'm really love it. Well yeah.. I get kinda get weird feeling at first, but as you watch the action and all of the coolness, panties is really need to keep balance in the series. I don't think I ever seen Najica laugh, but that cool. YOu gotta love her coolness and IQ. She pretty much the reasemble of jamesbond. I'm also fans of robot that have feeling and such, even though the plot have been done many times, but this one show the ideal that closest to my idealistic on how the robot should lives in the human world. The series only reflect some part of the Najica's work. It only 12 ep. long, that's why there's no such climax or the scencs where you almost wet your pant. But that's another why I like it. It was a breeze watching this series, Najica made everthing go smoothly and not a single time have such serious conflict with enemy.
All and all, this is must watch series. The time go by so quicky when you watch Najica do all the cool moves while your eyes sometime rolls around to see all the panties shots. Anyway... you should see it! I can guarantee you'll not hate this series. In the worst case; you could try to avoid some of the panties by looks at boobs instead and you'll be fine. Enjoys!

| Simple, well structured anime has been billed as the "James Bond With Panties" series.
In my opinion, this is one of those underrated animes that doesn't seem to have a rabid following - but most likely deserves one.
Most of what you hear about are the numberous "panty shots" associated with Najica Blitz Tactics...But if you can take that with a grain of salt, the story is more than satisfying. Its one of the few animes where I enjoyed every single episode.
Although the main character Najica is a bit bland (they obviously thought her fan service shots would do her justice), the one you really care most about is her sidekick partner.
Although made for the male audience, I think some females alike would enjoy this as well, given the point of strong female leads. Besides that, as the series goes on - the panty shots start to dwindle a bit. The first episode is non-stop fan service, so don't judge the entire series from that.
Give it a try....it deserves better.
Great 60s/70s jazzy funky soundtrack to !

| Overall, it's a really fun Fan service Anime with a decent story line remenicent of A.D. Police. the two main progagonists remin me of Kirika and Mireille from NOIR, their strengths and weaknesses complemement each other very well.
As a side note, I would like to say that I hate when animes such as this one with such a solid story line is as panty-shot crazy as this one, now don't get me wrong, I'm not against pantyshots or fan service by any means, but in moderation, I mean it's almost like I'm watching an underwear commercial here.
But overall, it's definatley a must-rent and since it's so short it's worth buying too.

| I think it would be ok to compare this series with Kiddy Grade. It's not as polished as KG perhaps, but the story has a common feeling.
But first things first: this series definitely delivers fan service. There is a huge amount of panty shots, the first episode had one every 10 seconds or so (I counted). Plus, there are a lot of female characters, all dressed in very skimpy dresses. Plus, the characters (most often the female villains) will go down with their skirts flying high and land in revealing positions, such as ass high up in the air or legs spread wide. Plus, get this, the plot has a very valid reason for the main characters to go around pulling the panties off other girls and checking out their butts. There's also the occasional bathing suits, topless, buck naked appearances and so on.
I didn't mind the panty shots very much (yeah, I'm a guy), after a while they kind of fade into the background and only induce a mild euphoria in the male spectator. :) What's really silly is the flashy manner in which the female villains go down. It gets silly really fast and then, well, it depends on you, personally I was amused by it.
The story starts out James Bond-ish, with vilains plotting to take over the world and secret super agents fighting against them, plus the existence of the special twists that I won't spoil for you.
The Bond gadgets are kept to a minimum. Najica resorts to her physical training and her handgun most of the time. From time to time there are things like underwater respiration devices, wrist climbing strings and colored smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe of the car, but they are not abused. There's also the humane bit in that Najica uses plastic bullets that only disabilitate the victim, not kill. Of course, the bad guys use real bullets. :)
The plot development is fairly tipical for medium sized series: it gives the spectator a quick introduction to the story from the very first couple of episodes; then you see a fair bit of episodes where the characters get to know each other better, the plot advances and generally there's only care-free, day-to-day business; in the final bunch of episodes there's some kind of big crisis that will involve the characters deeply and is what the story led to all the time.
Frankly, I was surprised pleasantly by this series. It only goes to show you should never be quick to judge a series before you've seen all of it. "Najica Blitz Tactics" started out as an action packed, panty shots filled, light and amusing show. It has a fair bit of humor too, mainly deriving from Lila's antics and the rare occasions to see the cool and composed Najica make a face.
But the really nice surprise it that before you know it you discover yourself in the middle of a very serious series. The amusing polish and the fan service is still there, but underneath it is an interesting and catchy story, with strong characters and deep conflicts. It gets better and better and I was almost sad to see it end at its best.
Very nicely done, the way they pull you in in the beginning, but you probably have to be a male for this trick to work. :)

It's no Yoko Kanno, but music is ok. If you liked it, try Cowboy Bebop OST's
Only last few eps told the story. Rest were just fillers. And the story wasnt interesting.
Characters were ok.
Value? You can get free porn from the internet, you shouldnt pay to see panties.
The anime was entertaining but it doesnt leave you thinking afterwards.
If you dont like ecchi, the series is really not for you. It adds some humor though. I dont want ecchi but it doesnt bother be, so I was able to enjoy the anime.
Conclusion: Great ecchi show, mediocre as an agent show.

| Pantyshots, flashy action-scenes, pantyshots, sexy characters, pantyshots, ridiculous combat and, did I mention it already, pantyshots - what more could you wish from your anime? Well, an interesting plot, for starters.
Najica Blitz Tactics is a fan-service series with some agent-stuff and sci-fi themes (mainly the old and proven question about whether or not artificial life-forms should be considered human) thrown in for flavor. The storyline, while of rather average quality for a fan-service show, never rises to its full potential - perhaps because there are too many panties in the way...
The animation is okay, although by no means stunning. They have clearly concentrated on the character-animation, which is fluid and pleases the eye (the male eye, that is). The sound effects are nothing special, and there's virtually only one song that is used as both the opening and as background-music - however, that song is good and it is used in so many variants and so well, that I must give a big thumbs up for that.
Although I enjoyed watching this short series quite a bit, I have a really hard time trying to figure out, why this anime was ever made - if you look past all the pantyshots, there's nothing here that hasn't been done multiple times before.
While the visual designs of the charactes were great, there really wasn't enough character development to make any of them (or this series) memorable.

| This was a really great series, if you are not bothered by all the panty shots. There is a good story, although the ending came at you so fast it didnt make sense. Music was cool, very fitting for the series and the animation was nice and detailed, yet not too detailed. If you like Secret Agent Type of shows, you would like this one.
*note: panties galore! every oppurtunity they have to show panties, and even when they dont have an oppurtunity to, somehow you see them. All the skirts stop about 1 inch above the crotch, so even when the females are standing upright, you see their panties, like in a car, the camera position is from under the dashboard looking up the skirt. Every time a girl gets knocked out, or falls down, her skirt flies up, and she hits the ground with her butt up in the air. I thought it was all pretty funny, and added humor to the show, but many seem to be offended by it.

| 2 Words decribe this anime.... FAN SERVICE!... I think this anime tops the list for the most panty shots in an anime. Honest to god, they have more panty shots than face shots! Even when a character is talking, they are focused on her panties rather than her face. (lmao)
This show is basically about a female James Bond named Najica who saves a lil' girl, which ends up helping Najica blast ppl away. Reminds me alot of Noir.
