| When I came across this anime I knew that I would like it. It's full of humor and it seems to take place in the 80's.
Animation - I really liked it. It is a little above average animation for the year it was created in. I liked the drawing style. It has the same style feeling of the anime Tenshi na Konamaiki style probably because they have the same creator.
Sound - There was no opening theme which is not a problem for me. The closing theme was really funny. The voice acting always seems to pleasant because its funny. Also there are no annoying voices.
Story - The story is pretty cool. It's about two freshman(they call them greenhorns) who want to be considered tough. They get new hairstyles which everyone in their class thinks they look
like punks
Characters - The characters are so funny. The two main characters think they are bad asses which in the beginning you laugh at it, but it turns ou they are pretty bad ass. Onecahracter likes to somewhat fight clean, and the other one fight pretty cheap like having his book-briefcase filled with steel bars and kicks people's hand when its stuck in the door.
Value - I will definitely rewatch this anime its to good not to. I thought the subtitles were good and very acurate. If I ever find a DVd or even Vhs that has this subtitled or even not I will make sure that I buy this anime

| Okay just reviewing from the first episode but this is FUNNY stuff!
The animation is old school so it's not as good as today's anime. It still gets the job done. It's also so funny seeing 80's style clothing and hair again.
Okay the basic story is that these 2 guys bump into each other before the first day of school.
They have decided to become rebels so they get special haircuts.
One guy gets a perm and bleaches his hair blonde. This sounds funny but I think this was a real fad in japan for a while. Mitsuhashi.
The other guy gets his hair spiked up like a porcupine. Ito.
These two don't get along at all which is part of the ongoing humor of this anime.
Anyways when they arrive first day of school they are surprised to find they are assigned to the same class.
The "gang" that control the school don't like the newcomers and they try to intimidate them.
But the new 'rebels' end up beating up everybody who tries to put them down.
Let's see lots of school fighting action, check.
What's funny about the anime is not the straight up fighting though. It is Mitsuhashi's antics.
This guy fights 'dirty' and uses every trick he can to win.
It's funny when the bad guys complain thats 'unfair' after they've been beaten and Mitsuhashi replies "What? I can't hear you!"
Well if you want some laughs and a bit of fighting this anime is for you. If you want a deep storyline... this is probably not it.
This is an enjoyable series of OVAs so far. Looking forward to the next one!

| Just saw a fansub of the first episode and I am unusually pleased by this anime.
Animation is old school but well done.
What has me excited are the characters and the story. Unlike the usual bland and predictable stock anime story lines and characters these are well defined and interesting individuals operating in an amusing and believable plot line.
The humor is genuinely funny and organic to the story, not forced, lame, or the standard panty shots ( not that there's anything wrong with panty shots ).
I am looking forward to more episodes. This becomes part of my favorite animes based on just one episode.
