| I saw this in 1984 when I was 5 years old and saw it then a couple of times later when I was more mature to understand its plot. this was one of the movies that had a decent plot but lacked in animation.
Interestingly the main hero Locke only appears after the middle of the movie and till then we have another friend of his trying to find a way to fight Lady Chan's soldiers. There's also a woman with psychic powers and the story revolves around her and her traumatic childhood and not Locke (no backgrounf info on him at all).
If you look for yet another sci-fi anime this wont dissapoint you. But there are way better movies out there. But this is vintage stuff and sometimes it is good.
The anime is a good introduction to the popular 60s manga that consists of more than 40 volumes. I dont know if I'll ever manage to read it though.
