| I know a lot of people who absolutely love this series, but I wasn't crazy about it. I read it in a magazine that comes out once a month, and I think I might have liked it more if I didn't have to read 10 pages at a time like that. Anyway, I found it kind of dull and forgettable.

| Excellent manga, the characters grow on you fast as the story pulls you in deeper and deeper with new surprises. I'm enjoying this one a lot!

| Vampire Knight is a series composed of many beautifully drawn characters and the central theme is...vampires.
Honestly, this is one of the best mangas i have come across. The storyline is not rushed and it keeps you madly flipping the pages. Vampire Knight is a story about the adopted daughter of Cross Academy's headmaster, Yuki Cross. As a child, Yuki was saved from a "bad" vampire by Kaname Kuran, a "good" vampire, on a snowy day. Her memories before this day are unkown to Yuki. Kaname then takes Yuki to the Cross Academy's headmaster, with a favor in mind. The headmaster would take care of Yuki as his adopted daughter.
The vampire, Kaname, makes sure to make visits to Yuki during her childhood every now and again. However, somewhat tied down by his obligations as a "pureblood" vampire, Kaname does not see Yuki often enough. Still, Yuki starts developing a love for her savior.
Ten years later, Yuki is enrolled at Cross Academy as a student and prefect of the "Day Class." As prefect, she is to keep the other Day Students in order at evening, when the "Night Class" comes out to attend classes. However, it is to remain a secret that the Night Class is composed of solely vampires. Yuki, feeling that she owes it Kaname for saving her life, willingly takes up the duty of protecting the vampires' secret (which she is well aware of).
However, Yuki's partner prefect, Zero, refuses to recognize any vampire as "good." His reason for this is later revealed.
To keep from spoiling this wonderful story, I will wrap it up with this: Vampire Knight is a suspenseful drama of vampires and humans, mixed with the overwhelming aspects of revenge, passion, blood, and love.

| I cannot say enough good things about this manga. The art is gorguous! Everything about it is amazing. The story is sad yet happy and I'm dying to read the next page even when I haven't slept in days.

| the comic is really good thet it made me thing instently that it was a love story, and i cant wait to get all the volumes.

| wow. ok, i wasn't expecting much from a manga with vampires as it's central theme, but this is amazing.
the artwork is gorgeous and all the characters are lovable (i hate it when the main girl is really stupid/annoying/etc.).
there's a lot of angst and drama, and it is a really fun read...
