| I read manga long time ago, but I hadn’t watched the anime. I found this series was aired by the Internet TV, and I began to watch. Because the bitrate of the streaming is not high enough, the quality of the image is not good, but it may be better than renting videos that have been played dozens of times.
As far as I remember, the story of the anime follows the manga faithfully. It begins as comedy or parody but it turns into martial arts anime and getting serious, but they don’t lose comedy taste completely. I remember that the author used vulgar jokes, but I think they become milder in the anime. The author assumed the readers of the manga were young adults, so kids don’t enjoy the stories much although it looks like the anime for kids.
Characters are charming ...in a certain sense... The designs of the characters are awkward, and I can’t believe everyone loves them.
The opening and ending songs are changed at the middle of the series. I prefer the former ones.
I think the story itself is good although the anime looks bad. But I cannot recommend everyone to watch. If you have time, take a look at this.
