| Okay I did not enjoy this whatsoever and yes i watched all of it. I just couldn't wait till it was over, this could have nearly killed me.
What kind of story is this? I mean it's really similar to Onegai Teacher. We have a 17 year old high school girl married to a teacher. They have to keep their marriage a secret so no one will find out. Yes so basically we have here 26 episodes of these misunderstandings. However they're not funny or i don't think they were trying to be. Keeping their marriage has been very tough for them. Why? There are people who love them. A teacher loves the teacher. A neighbor who is a widow falls in love with him. A high school boy falls in love with the girl. The widow's son falls in love with the girl. The manager of a grocery store falls in love with a girl. Yes this is indeed a problem. So basically they pretend that they're relationship is as siblings.
Well they live together so they can have all their time together. Wrong! No they just have some problems that get in their romantic time. The reasons are just completely stupid. And what's more annoying that is this.
In every single episode at the beginning Asami-Chan~ (ugh no) says this. "Hi a 17 year old high school girl. I have a secret that I can't tell anybody. I'm actually married to my teacher." EVERY EPISODE YOU KNOW HOW ANNOYING THAT IS?! I fell like they're telling me I'm stupid and don't know what's going on in the story. Yes i remember her age yes i remember her situation too. I don't need to be reminded 26 times.
Ugh the characters also make me sick. We got Asami whose a sex girl freak. I mean all she can think of is having sexual pleasure with her teacher. Boring. Nothing romantic or anything. Just one simpleminded girl. Nothing special about her except making food and cleaning. Next we got the teacher. Yes boring as well. Even though he's married to Asami they don't really develop their relationship any further. Actually he tries to avoid it in my opinion. Then of course we got these other characters who love the them and wish to marry them. Yeah of course there is going to be conflicts but the way how they developed it was just lame. The most annoying characters were Asami's friends. Yes they are really nosy. I don't like the way how they behave, they're just simply rude.
This anime is definitely not worth watching. No comedy, love-romance, drama. It's just boring, lame, nada. It didn't even make me laugh once. I was hoping that it would get better on the way. However i noticed that it wouldn't, because Asami kept saying her introduction over and over and over again. So then i said Yup this is it nothing new is gonna happen, nothing special, just gonna leave it like it was during the first 3 episodes.

| Well first of all I'm not gonna write a long review or even my usual length for this anime because its's simply not worth much.
Okusama wa Joshi Kosei isn't original at all. And uhh well it tries to be good if that counts. Its also not very memoable. You'll soon ind yourself saying whats her name and I did to
Animation - The animation is simply average for 2005, nothing greater and nothing less. Colors and shades are ok. Not really sketchy at all. Though the character design was pretty good. The main charcher always lkooks like shes horny.
Sound - I didn't like the opening and ending theme at all, they have that high pitch pop. The background music isn't rmemorable. Voice acting is avearge I guess.
Story - Story is about a 17 year old high school student who is maried to ateacher who is 25. Student=female. Teacher=male. Its not original.
Characters - the characters are pretty likeable yet lacking. I did feel bad for the couple because they never get to spend hardly any time together alone due to always people they know being in the weidest place they are. I felt bad so iadded ine extra point as developement. don't worry it wont really effect it.
Value - I wont collect this. I won't reatch this. Recomended to anyone who may want a break from along series' that they're watching like I am. Its only an anime for a break time.

| Okusama wa Joshikousei is how I put it... a mimic. Why? This anime is pretty much an imitation of an earlier series titled "Onegai Teacher". To say the truth it has the basics of all the Onegai Teacher quality just made it opposite somewhat. The relationship is still between a student and teacher. However, now the student is a girl and the teacher is a guy. You get the idea... The episodes are 24 minute long but actually they are splitted into 12 minutes sections. So basically the whole anime is 20ish episodes that are 12 minutes each. Let's not puzzle you with math, lol.
Animations are nice. However poses nothing new. Sounds.. well the VO are Japanese so I'm guessing they're good if I understood the language. I wasn't a fan of the music themes. Story poses a situation which differ from many of the casual love-romance animes. Nonetheless the idea of a teacher/student relationship have been used before. It is a bit cliche. Characters kinda bug me a bit... The main girl seems to be underage to get marry in the first place (she's 17). All she seems to be after is her Danna-sama (means husband) affection and his "mojo", lol. The husband on the other hand is insecure and reclusive at times. Question of why he's in such a relationship with an underage girl. I truly think the story could have explain itself better. For example, how they get married and why besides the fact they are in love...
Overall the anime is worth a watch. However, the story has been used before and the original use was better, in my personal opinion. Close moments in this anime is very "CHeesy". Enough cheese to feed grilled cheese to the whole USA. Ok bad joke, lol. But it's true.

| Two words will perfectly describe my experience of Okusama wa joshikosei - Utterly Painful. This anime makes more cheese that all of happy California cows combined. And if that not enough this anime barely has any storyline, character development, well not much of anything for that matter. It's a shame to say this anime, for what it is meant to be, it still is a failure. This anime is nothing more than shots of high schools girls (and women in general) with boobs bigger than watermelon.
When I first read the storyline, I thought this anime perhaps have the potential to be something new for a change. I mean we have lot of guy stuck with bunch of girl senario everywhere. Not to mention high school romance genre in its entirety. I hoped that this teacher student marriage thing will present new situations and interesting storyline I have not seen before.
I was wrong. Not necessarily because I have seen this storyline before, but because this anime really never present anything worth watching. As you will soon realize this anime is a gathering of bunch of events that happen in school and at home that does not contribute in anyway to any progression of relationships or storyline. Relationship between Asami and Ichimaru will stay exactly the same till the las two episodes. All they do throughout the anime is stare at each other.
Now towards the end, they do try to do something with this anime with their marriage. well if these were about 8episode earlier may be it would've worked. It's too late, too little, too anticlimactic.... It just not enough to make up for the most boring and senseless beginning, and the middle.
Now this view i'm about to say is personal: I honestly thought this anime was very very offensive towards women. Asami is presented as this horny high school girl going through puberty dreaming of having a sexual intercourse, if not interecourses, with her husband who is her teacher. Now I'm not saying that she should not desire that, but throughout the anime she is presented as a woman only desiring that moment of sexual pleasure. She is one dimentional, and lame. She lacks character and personality. She most of the time is used to satiate the need for fan service (panty shots, ugly boob shots, and her sexy thoughts). To make things worse, Ichimaru sensei does not make up for this. He also is just boring and lame.
If this anime has any redeeming quality it has to be few of its rare comedic moments. there were couple of scenes where I thought it was very funny, but that really is about it.
Animation is utterly normal. I hated the character designs and movements with its unnaturally big and juggling boobs that moved around in very strange manner. There really isn't anything special. Music is reused over and over and its quickly resorts it self to repetitiveness.
Well except for its few funny moments, this anime is stunk it up bad. Too cheesy, too lame, too offensive, too slow... all of this will describe this anime well.
oh and did anyone else find Asami repeatedly saying that she's 17 years old, she has a secret, she married to teacher thing twice every episode? I sure did.

| A 17 year old girl and a teacher probably in his mid-to-late twenties are married, but kept in secret. I don't see what's much to enjoy about this anime because nothing really happens (not yet anyway). She just wants some attention from him and obviously wants sex, but the guy is a boring teacher who probably doesn't know much about making love. I don't see too much ecchiness, in fact, hardly any other than skimpy outfits time to time. I think it would have been better if it was more of a comedy genre. I don't know where this will go but I hope it gets better.
