| Adding my $0.10 to the last couple of reviews; it wasn't really "adult anime you can get off of" per say. It's more like the story of a political badboy turned outcast turned trainer, a stubborn-old grinch sporting a monocle, and the maids that get turned into sex slaves.
Mind you; the second episode had not been released in the US because it contained sex with loli. The idea of releasing animated sex from overseas into the US was still controversal and young at that time. But in the end, the "Maiden of..." series had been released as an incomplete 4-ep series instead of 5.

| Maiden Diaries dreht sich um junge Frauen die in einem protzigen Anwesen als Zimmermädchen tätig sind und zudem noch von ihrem persönlichen "Trainer" zu Sexsklaven ausgebildet werden. Nichts besonderes also, alles schon zigtausendmal da gewesen. Zur Story lässt sich nicht viel sagen, jede Episode stellt ein neues "Opfer" vor das von unserem zwiespältigen Hauptdarsteller solange zurechtgestutzt wird bis es jegliche Scheu ablegt und sich wie ein Stück Fleisch durch die Gegend bumsen lässt. Die Charaktere sind etwas undurchsichtig, zum Beispiel war mir nie ganz klar ob der männliche Protagonist jetzt gut oder böse ist und was er eigentlich will. Das Design der Figuren ist...na ja ganz in Ordnung, bin aber weit Besseres gewohnt. Vom Sex her ist Maiden Diaries eher matt: Es werden kaum bis gar keine Details preisgegeben und die unteren Körperpartien sind so gut wie immer von irgendwas verdeckt, sei es jetzt eine Hand oder ein Kopf oder die Kameraperspektive. Bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen also durch und durch Softcore. Zu einem Großteil sind die Sexszenen im normalen Bereich angesiedelt aber es gibt auch eine gute Portion S&M bzw Bondage zu sehen, was mich aber nicht angesprochen hat da ich diese Art von Sex stark ablehne. Alles in Allem: Ich würde diesen Hentai nicht empfehlen, zu soft, zu öde und zu S&Mig für meinen Geschmack.

| I loved this, really good, behind the sex and hentai stuff, IMO, there’s a solid story, sure it’s not berserk but still, I was pleasantly impressed by the story. The sound as well, BEST EVER I have heard in a hentai, only MeiKing equalling this, the classical music even surpasses MOST animes, when I noticed that rare quality, I know I’m onto something good.
It just, at times didn’t feel like a hentai, rather a serious story, I’m also pretty sure many people will hate this and see nothing special in it, but it just grew on me slowly bit by bit, 4 episodes later, I really like it.
Maybe the character helped immensely, the girls are ALL TYPICAL hentai girls, sex slaves etc, but what really interested me was the fact that the characters acted so real and made you pity them, the way they stay happy, the way thee worked together, great stuff.
Not many people have heard of this, even less have seen this, yet another undiscovered gem. Watch this if you are a hentai fan, and definitely give this a spin if you are in for the story instead of the sex, or if both.
