| Another classic anime. It was made in 1967? doesnt look so old at all. It was one of the most memorable animes I've seen. Now as an adult I wouldn watch this but when I was a kid this was enchanting. Together with Kimba and Astroboy, the series that started to make anime popular both in and out of Japan

| This is one of the first titles I saw when I was a kid. I remember being extremely excited when it was going to be on. The story is a pretty basic one as the description shows, but it progresses really well through the series and the characters make decisions that ultimately decide their fate, Saphirre is the main example of that. The character design is very cute and childish and goes with the theme of the series very well. This series should be seen as a landmark, especially since it is the first to feature a cross dressing female protagonist. If you can track this series down nowadays it would be well worth your time.
