| Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? How am I the first review for this adorable OVA?? It needs more love!!
In any case, this needs more attention than it it is getting. It is the adorable story of three young girls living the best they can, and it is a joy to watch. Directed by Akitaro 'Furuba' Daichi, you know what to expect - silly gags, tearful moments and LOTS of fun!! Others have complained that they found this to be too cutesy, but I argue that it has a something to say, and using the adorable characters, the quaint setting only add to it's charm. Okay, so that charm may be too sweet for some, but I found it to be a perfect balance of fluffiness and seriousness.
Although I prefer Animation Runner Kuromi to this, Makasete Iruka! is only a 24 minute OVA, so how could you pass it up? It won't change your life, but it's pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
It's also worth noting that this is the first anime that 'seriously encorporates a deaf character'. If the above doesn't get you to check this out, that should.
