| I DEFINITELY asked for this one. In my last review, I asked, "how can anyone go wrong with an H game to anime translation"...this series proved me wrong.
With the same artwork as Mizuiro and Iriya no Sora, I thought this series would be unbeatable and a great 2004 addition. But after watching the series once (I still cannot finish it for the life of me =P)...I still do not get it. The girls are very pretty, the music is nice, but I am still left wondering....what?
This is the first series I cant really recommend unless you put sheer effort into trying to enjoy the plot, because as far as characer development is...I have no idea?!

| Well, this is an anime when superior drawing met BAD screem play. Did I say bad? I meant horrid.
As many of my predeccessor had spoken, this Anime is pointless and slow as hack, at first glance I thought this could be a shojo anime or even a H one, but boy was I wrong. Though the girls are all well drawn, there is no love triangles that are developed during the series to make it qualifier for a romance anime. As for the story... I did not realized there was one. The only saving grace of the series was the 2 songs they had in intro and the end. Despise how cheesy they are, they fit the attempted theme and were rather catchy. Better yet, just download the song and kill the anime.

| This series dragged on for a long time and the story did not really go anywhere. I ended up lost after each episode. I don't think it's very fun to watch unless if you have a lot of time to spare. However, the animation is very well done and the female characters are very cute. I probably watched it because of the girls in it. The opening song sounds very cheesy, almost like one of those little kids shows. But the background music sounds relaxing and very well done so I'll give sound some credit as well. If only there was more character development, a story to unfold, and some more effort into grabbing the audience's attention... But I must say, Shun is a very mysterious person. He annoyed me sometimes, but other than that, he's one you want to figure out.

| Kakyuusei 2 tries to do what Air TV did, and failed miserably. It is so boring, so slow, with no sense of story whatsoever. There is a love story, then there is also a mysterious story in it. Just leave this anime alone. Better play the H-game than watch this anime. A series even worse than The Limeiro/Ryuiro Senkitan.

| "Thank you for watching Kakyuuse 2 until the end. This is an anime to forget." This was the exact world of Lunar-anime translator at the end of the generic of last episode of this series and probably the best way to summarize it: A total waste of time. A romance anime with a touch of fantasy and mystery could be a good thing such masterpieces as Air or Kanon proves it but this one fails awfuly in every aspects: Slow as hell storyline that try to put some mystery but didnt't work out right due to a absolute lack of subtlety and real direction; Ultra-abusive and annoying use of pointless flashback; one of the cheesiest soundtrack evermade; overdose of tastless and wrothless humour that almost never fit to place; finaly not so bad character that are totally underdevlopped. Better luck next time. Such clssic as Marmalade Boy, Maison Ikkoku or Kimiga Nozomu Eien are a million time better than this one.

| I've watched the first Kakyusei and expected this one to be a continous version or at least similar to the first. To my surprise, this one has NO similarities to the first and is completely boring. Aside from cute animated girls, this one has no story line, no plot and no purose. Bottom line: if you want nothing but low intelligence fun, then waste your time on this one.

| This is one of the many few anime series that bore me to the point where i fell asleep. The problem with this series is that the story moves way too slow. We establish from the beginning that there is some kind of love story going on but the momentum is so sluggish. I recall a few other series that had the same pace, e.g. gungrave. I wouldn't recommend this unless you really dont care what you watch. Believe me, I have extreme paitence but this was just too slow.

Decent animation up to par with today's standards. Pretty good OP and ED songs accompanied by an adequate, but perhaps overused BGM soundtrack.
Story:
A Harem series that actually had some potential. It's not just about a guy with multiple love interests. There is an underlying plotline that is both intriguing and novel for this type of series. However, the series did a poor job in harvesting that potential by rushing the ending and leaving a lot of questions unexplained.
Characters:
Fairly standard harem line-up. Two main male characters and many female characters.
Conclusion:
It's a harem series that tries to be different than other series in this genre. So I must credit its boldness. However, it ultimately fails because it seems like the creators didn't really know how to carry their idea through the entire series. Like I mentioned above, the ending felt rushed and inconclusive. It might have been better if they extended the series to 26 eps. I feel that they tried to do too much with only 13 eps. I probably would not recommend this if you've got other series to watch. But if you have a lot of free time or if you're a hardcore fan of this genre, then by all means give this series a try.

| This is a very slow anime, but it really quite enjoyable. The assortment of characters give you a little of every genre. There are quite a few hilarious parts, and some good suspense. Its a real down to earth anime that you shouldn't miss.

The OP is one of the worst I've heard, and the ED is only tolerable.
Pretty much through the entire show, you have no idea what's going on. Like I mentioned before, it tries to be mysterious, but fails miserably.
A lot of scenes pause for nearly a minute with two people just looking at each other...then nothing happens - wow, exciting! If you're looking for romance/mystery stories, there are many, many better options.

| I had very high expectation before this anime came out, because I really loved the original Kakyusei. But what I saw really disappointed me.
It has complete lost the theme of the original Kakyusei, which is similar to Dokyusei (aka End of Summer).
Kakyusei 2 has a vary strange storyline which I still couldn't get a grasp on after finishing episode 6, mixed with strange flashbacks, and some of the most awkward joke I've ever seen. It's almost like a clone of "ONE ~Kagayaku Kisetsu e~", which I could not figure out what's going on even after watching it 3 times.
Although the animation and sound quality are pretty good, the quality of story is nowhere near the original Kakyusei or Dokyusei or Pia Carrot. If you liked the original Kakyusei or Dokyusei, don't even bother with this one.

nice and beautiful character designs(what can i say?? BISHOUJOZ!!!!)
Characters are quite ok!!
overall this is a typical bishoujo anime which has of couse a bevy of chicks.. i can only give a full story review after watching the entire show. and i really reccommend this to everyone. even for the babes, give this show a chance once u can get a subbed version. ^_^
