| I am going to make this shorter because of the fact that if you are thinking of watching this you should have watched the TV series already. If you haven't watch the series first. Also if you have watched the series I was a bit surprised to see the mature rating on the show, well until I watched it. They went all out with censured hentai. It does change the feel of the show a bit, but there still is a solid connection between the TV show and this episode, but I can see why so many people complain the differences of the two. OK with that said on to the disapointment.
Actually the animation was better than the series, but that isn't saying a whole lot. They did change some of the character designs which didn't bother me, but how the crap did Midori grow so much hair in 6 months? Whatever, no big deal. I do like the animation style, it is the same as Green Green TV so if you liked it then you will like it now.
Sound: Nothing special at all. I just watched it and can't remember the music at all. At least I didn't watch it dubbed like I had to in some of the TV series. The voices were fine just nothing special.
Story? Well I can tell you the story in two setences. Some of the girls come back to visit the school to prepare for the change to a co-ed school, and Futaba and Yuusuki get some action. Oddly enough Midori who is a character that interacts in some of Yuusuke and Futaba's dreams gets it on with Yuusuke also! Lame story with a bunch of fanservice. At least there were no bears...
Characters, didn't change much at all except it validates Futaba and Yuusuke's relationship. Very flat.
I liked this because I liked Green Green TV not because I liked this episode. So with the series it is average, stand alone I would have dropped this show to a 2.

| This comes as a natural last episode of the Green green TV series. The animation is a bit better, and the ecchi takes a step forward, with (almost) full visual sex scenes. The main point of this episode is to let the series get the ending it deserves. While episode 12 was a bit sad, this episode really makes things right again.
The sex scenes wasn't necessary but since the whole series had a "sexy" feel to it, it mostly felt natural to let it escalate in this way.
A must see if you want to see the true ending of this series. STAY AWAY FROM THE OTHER OVA, though...

| (Spoilers) This ep/OVA shows Midori giving Yuusuke permission to get involved with Futaba. Midori also has an -intimate-, metaphysical encounter with Yuusuke. Somehow the two can relate to each other even though she left. Futaba and a few others come to visit the school for some reason, and Yuusuke proceeds to get action from her too. Steamy scenes here folks. The 3 friends again were annoying as hell.
So Yuusuke is a lucky bastard in this ep, gets mad play from 2 good looking girls in quick succession. If you wanted to see Midori or Futaba unclothed and in full action, here is your chance. This ep is straight up "mature". It resolves the love triangle too. I still want my Midori back, but Futaba's good enough.

| Graphics is still the same as in the series. Background is still blotchy at times, but background objects looks more solid. If it wasn't for the shading and lighting for some scenes, the animation would have gotten a 7.
There's no opening theme song, and the ending one sucks like hell. The music consists mainly of a piano. There's little variation or great music. Sound effects are barely there.
Story did not make sense. The only relationship between this OVA and the series is the people and the setting. The plot was unnoticable and illogical. Instead of the story, this OVA focused on sex scenes. I believe the plot was to have Yuusuke get over Midori and move on to Futaba, and Midori backing them up. But it was presented in such a horrible way that people didn't see that. For example, the way that Midori is telling both of them to get together like she had no relationship with Yuusuke. In the end, I did not like the story after all.
This OVA gave no character development at all. They assumed that you saw the series already and just gave a continuation. They're the same characters as when the series ended. The trio are still stupid and perverted. Yuusuke and Futaba seemed like they are two whole different people. Midori didn't even become upset about Yuusuke and Futaba, but encouraged them. They did not even make sense the way they acted.
This OVA was a pathetic attempt for fanservice sex. The sex was the main theme and it left out everything else. Things happened that did not logical follow from the last episode of the series, or at least did not explain why the main characters are like this now. This show did nothing good as a continuation, as it being the 13th episode. But I did like that Midori and Yuusuke were able to express their love again, even though it was a dream.

| Green Green Erolutions is basically for those people who wanted to see Yuusuke and Futaba hook up and sex it out. I don't see anything wrong with it at all though. Although it may not be the most fulfilling thing to see, its just hentai. Don't have too much expectation for it.
The sex kind of sucks though. It is not much of a hentai, and I guess where it fails is its kind of a bad mix between the original Green green TV storyline and sex... and nakedness.
I thought it was really stupid for Midori to give up on Yuusuke. To me, this episode basically stopped all chances of a viable continuation of the series that we all loved and laughed at. This has all the cheezy story line and dialogue classic of hentais. Although the ending was kind of interesting... poor Yuusuke lol.
In the end, I don't really care much for this OVA. If you really want to see Futaba sex it out, then go for it. If you kind of want to imagine a continuation of the Green green with Midori and Yuusuke, don't bother. I don't know if this is meant to be a real part of the story line or just an excuse to give sex, but that's all it is... sex and not very good ones at that.

| I seriously hate this one. It adds nothing to the series and only shows hentai. I'm kinda like a fan of ecchi, but hentai wasn't necessary. All the funny stuf has been taken away, and there isn't a plot.

| After watching the Green Green tv I had very high expectations about this OVA altough it has very low ratings here. I was maybe little scared before watching because this anime had mature in its genre.
The girls were visiting ganeone gakuen on summer and this OVA continues at the next winter when some of the girls come visiting again for couple of days. It seems that there is some sexual excitement between Futaba-chan and Yuusuke-kun.
Well... Did they really have to ruin so good series to make this kind of shit. Green green erolutions doesn't even know what does mean word "plot". They removed all fun parts and pervert jokes and replaced them with SEX. And the characters... they don't have the same spirit as in the serie. And finally WHY o Why does Midori want Yuusuke-kun and Futaba-chan have sex. I think green green erolutions doesn't do anything well in the plot.
Anyway, this OVA has good animation, it's even better than in the series. Green green tv had really marvelous opening music and they havet taken it also away. The translation and subs were good as usual and the only thing I maybe could re-watch this OVA is because it's too short. I didn't enjoy watching this anime.
Overall. Green green erolutions is bad continue to the green green tv that has little bit better animation but miserable plot! I recommend this to nobody. DON'T WATCH IT, watch the series.

| By any means, do not start watching this anime expecting a prolongation of Green Green TV. Don't expect for it to tie loose ends. Don't expect anything, except for Hentai.
Finally it has broken the bonds of ecchi and became a Hentai, and I do not only mean it because of sex scenes. The story, the characters, all of it disappeared. The only real thing they do is sex, the characters doesn't resemble themselves that much either, they just exist as a pieces of meat to show us their sex.
I do not recommend this for anybody, unless you want to jerk-off at characters of Green Green very much.

| I don't know why people complain about this one. Green green TV was an echi series to begin with. Now erolution is some kind of bonus for those who didn't get enough and want more. And this ova perfectly meets their desire. Animation is a bit better than in tv yet they kept the style. This is absolutely not a stand-alone project. Good thing is that it's first time I saw some h-content for harem\ecchi animes. When in relationship, people not just smile to each other and hold hands. It surely was refreshing.
For those for whom this ova wasn't enough either I recommend Green green characters' dvds.

| To be honest, Green Green TV was a great anime (a little bit to porny) but this 13th episode was the badest thing i ever saw, this is censurated hentai FFSPR! Well anyway, animation was as a normal series, nothing special about that.
The sounds too... but the cool OP was taken away, the ED too, so it got low...
The story in Green Green TV was good, but this one... was bad!
Character, looks like before, but the personality... the personality changed. Yuusuke isn't that shy anymore... this one is way to bad!
Value i gave it a 2 only becouse it is an OAV and extra episode, otherwise... it would get 0!
I didn't like this ep. the only good with it was some scenes between the sex-parts!

| I think the animation was good in this OVA, thats the only good thing i can say.
They ruined the old spirit of Green Green TV, never going over to hentaish style just ecchi jokes, that made you laugh. And the only thing that really was serious in the GG TV was love story betwean Midori and Yuusuke.
IMP this is a light hentai OVA, thats just considerred to watch if you really just are out for some hentai scenes off the green green characters.
I knew i wouldnt like to watch this OVA, just whanted to know if the story would develop any furhter since the 12th episode.

| I was BEGGING for the relationship between Futaba and Yusuke to develop in the actual television series so when I heard there was a 13th episode (OVA) revolving around exactly that, needless to say I was excited.
This feeling has happened with other animes (kgne + school rumble come to mind)where I really don't want the protagonist to hook up with the girl he is "supposed to", or who I interpret he is supposed to be with. Midori was such a one dimensional character and was really unappealing to me. However the relationship between Yusuke and Futaba in this short OVA doesn't feel right. It could be the fact that it is hentai or that it was rushed, but it was a little dissapointing.
I think that the line that green green always came so close to crossing was what made it funny and with that line erased the novelty wears off quick.
It isn't gross hentai by any means. I am not exactly a hentai afficianado, however it was done in fairly good taste (realistic), but still a little rediculous. I will say that they way they made the long awaited "consumation" turn out however, was rather anti-climatic.
If you were cheering for Futaba and Yusuke in the original series I would recommend this anime simply for the slight closure value. If, however, you liked Green Green just the way it was then leave this alone.

| As done simply to close the TV series I believe it has fulfilled its purpose for fanservice. Being in hentai nature of the series itself a anime is expected not to have a solid storyline. The animation itself is similarly adequate and nicely done. There is not much Character development except the obvoius stuff they talk about and some emotions they comedicly show.

| I disagree with most of the previous reviews. Either the reviewers didn't watch the TV series or they couldn't understand it at all.
I see a lot of guys complaining that it crossed the echi border and stepped into hentai territory. Thats true but the hentai material in this extra episode was presented in a nice cool way, not the perv disgusting bear-rapes-guy or guy-licks-another-guy-a** that was showed on TV series.
Why does anime romance always have to end with the guy holding her beloved girl's hand with a red face and thats it. Whats the problem in characters having actual sex.
Contrary to other reviews, erolutions does close the series with a nice ending and I really recommend it for anyone that liked the Tv series.

| when i thought..omg theres an extra episode so i finally know what happens to yuskun and midori..no that doesnt happen. all the characters are pretty much screwed..yeah thats to put it..animation was great..sound was great too but story was not so good.....if you want to know what happened after the green green tv episode....well you wont know what happens..because the characters are really not so well put out....sigh..dissapointing just dissapointing....ruined what i thought it would happen....in the TV episode remember the beginning?? where it says...we'll be together forever? HA thats not going to happen..it doesnt fallow the whole plot of those 2 being together man..

at this "special" episode the main girls are coming back for a day . futaba and yuusuke are in love and they express their love by doing sex. more , was that midori somehow came back as a memory and talked to yuusuke (and even did sex with him . hm , why?) and to futaba , "do your best futaba!!".oh , and we even got a lesbian part between futaba and the teacher (!) . wow , exciting#@!$.
anyway , story , there wasn't a story .
and the sex part sucked , although i didn't ask any sex in my Green Green .
this OVA is dissapointing , really . i feel like they betryed all the fans of the series .
watch this if you want lame sex . if you are a fan of Green Green , you should not watch this , it'll just ruin you everything.

| This is where I really have to take into consideration the genre of this one.
It goes from a totally ecchi series to a mature series, which sorta throws things off. The Mature content here I'd have to say was pretty bad and disappointing.
The comedy factor also was greatly reduced from its original series. Still some laugh out loud scenes, but nothing like the original with nose bleed jokes.
Overall, this might ruin it for you if you're a total die-hard Green Green fan. If you're a pervert and just in it for the mature content, you'll also be disappointed.

| Just when you think Green Green is finally over, we get this special called "Erolutions"! Just by the name suggest that this anime will have something more than ecchi. And it does have 2 full blown sex scenes in this 30min special.
Animation is definitely better than the TV series, sound is decent too (if you like the moaning and stuff). The story is basically just as stupid as always, but it is slightly better just because it has the sex scenes and not the awkward semi-erotic ecchi in the TV series.
Other than that, there actually isn't any point of watching this special at all.

Anim8ion, The high quality animation from the Green Green TV series. Not particularly Upgraded & therefore slightly outdated, but still very good. [7](Things that needed censoring were included, GG also has a style that not everyone will like).
Sound, no great themetunes this time, but it doesnt really matter, voice acting is good but could be irritating. Overall not bad.[7]
Story, this is GGTV 12+1 when the girls come back for one weekend. Its the same dumb plot which lacks some coherency, with some hentai aspects included, but this OVA will definantly make you laugh.[7(because of hentai)]
(Also there is a slightly more romantic feel to this episode!)
Character, most of the TV characters are here, in all their glory (futhering on their development to!) You wont understand them if you havent watched the series, so go watch that if you havent!. [9]
Value, It belongs with Green Green TV (in your collection of ecchi animes). I think it should get rid of the hentai that needed censoring, & focus on a bit more funny!. A plesant watch.[8]
I think if id watched this while being in the right mindset after watching the series i would have enjoyied this far more. So -1 for the hentai censoring and give it a [9]!

| Ok i know that the Tv series really didn't present a real ending and there was a need to pull togeter all the loose ends but this isn't what i've been waiting for. The took a really funny and really ecchi anime and they chrosed the border in hentai land, and guess what they realised? a really cheap hentai.
Animation is bad, sound is bad.. just as in the series but since this is now a hentai and an OVA i would have expected a better animation. And they don't even show some good sex action.
I'm really dissapointed by this one, guys, if you've seen Green Green Tv don't watch this, it will only give you a bad feeling.
I'm kinda worried about the future of the company who made this.. i mean Green green OVA was a normal ecchi, Green Green Tv was an extreme ecchi and now Green green erolutions just crossed the line into hentai-land... hope this company isn't gonna turn into a full throttle hentai one.
