| What a disappointment. Even when I liked Dual this is a project that so obviously was cancelled that I won't even bother with depicting anything else then overall section.
ANIMATION used the fact that CGI are not anymore striking in the eyes. Why? Because there is no such objects that would require ANY CGI. :P Unluckily there is also no fights in this one, so it truly lessened every positive things in comparison to series.
SOUND fell to 5, because my favourite pieces are almost nonexistant here.
STORY fell on it's face, because not only it has no plot whatever, but also has no ending whatever, it just was supposed to be spin-off for an OVA that was cancelled, how You think I should rate it otherwise?
CHARACTERS are ONLY redeemable if I look at them as characters from Dual series. Otherwise take away three points at once, and after having second thoughts perhaps stop watching it even sooner than at once.
VALUE. None whatever. Every GOOD thing in Dual series has been here taken away. Or added, cause in Dual no fanservice existed, while here it does (love hotel motive). Also jokes are weaker.
Enjoyment was 5, because I was smiling after seeing the same characters more. Be warned, and don't be such sucker as I was, don't watch it.

| This special serves as a follow up to the Dual television series which ran 13 episodes. What you get here is close to thirty minutes worth of a few laughs and some closure.
If you are familiar with the show, you will want to watch this. If you are not, you obviously should be watching something else first if this interests you.
Now I ended up enjoying the special more than the actual TV show as it showcased more of the humor which made the TV show entertaining in the first few episodes. The animation is picked up a bit, the humor has better writing, and the facial expressions really drive the humor home.
What I mean to say here is that during the midst of the actual television show, Dual neglected some of the elements which made it fun. What is ultimately the 14th and final episode brought some of that quality back. The story for the actual episode is hokey, but the characters are what make it worth watching. In the end, which this is for Dual, it makes for a fine farewell to the Dual universe.

| Da es sich hier eingentlich mehr um eine weitere Episode handelt als um ein Special gibts hier die gleiche Wertung. Dennoch befriedigt diese vermeindlich letzte Episode nicht unbedingt, ich hätte mir ein zufriedenstellenderes Ending gewünscht. Dennoch Dual bleibt Dual und der gewohnt gute Slapstick lässt auch das verschmerzen und nicht zuletzt D die mir in diesem Special noch besser gefällt als in der Serie ^_^
