Ugh, so many cliches were in this anime... it's so annoying especially when I've seen lots of 80's 90's anime

Final Approach and W -Wish- were both part of the same half-hour on Japanese TV, the "Princess Hour". While I started W -Wish- before Final Approach, I finished it MUCH later. Why? Because while it is MUCH prettier than Final Approach, it's also much more dull. The character are the most boring stock characters you can find, the story is SO typical of the genre (say TWINCEST!!) and the plot really goes nowhere for the first 2/3rds of the story. The kid has missing memories, whoo hoo, nobody cares because we're not given a reason to. While things get "exciting" for a few episodes around the end, with the introduction of the supernatural, they fall down again once it becomes painfully obvious the story is going to cop out and give us a stupid conclusion. Ugh. I cannot recommend this even if you like bishoujo anime. You'll feel like you're being treated like an idiot.

And don't you even get me started on the final action of the three main characters in the final episode...that is just an awful message, even for a fantasy anime.

I had a sense of deja vu when watching this. More and more, this became like Wind - A Breath of Heart.

Except this is worse. By a distance.

They both have shorter episodes than the average series. For the first half, they were both like a boring school soap. They both have this mysterious girl who tries be philosophical but comes off as slightly funny in the head instead... but ofc no one picks up on their weirdness. And, they both series turns on heavy supernatural elements midway into the series. There are a few reasons why I think W Wish is worse. For the most part, W Wish is not only boring, but crappier, and more cringeworthy too, thanks to the "Onegai Twins" elements mixed into formula - the two girls in sister roles clings to the main boy like the smell to your shoe after you stepped on dog poo. They are so annoying, especially the grey-haired one *shudders*. And at least with Onegai Twins, the siblings had the decency to feel guilty about the development of the unnatural feelings for their siblings. Here there's no sign of this. The climatic turning point was well dramatised I thought, but it was let down by the ending, the way they resolved the whole situation. Basically, they've chosen the most cheesy, boring, cliched ending possible. Ugh, that's all I can say for it.

The aspects better than Wind is that the supernatural turning points was less "out of the blue", and look less like they just made it up as they went along, because there were a few hints throughout the series that something isn't quite right. It's still comes off a little weird, but in retrospect it seems to me that the episodes prior to the turning point were the odd ones out - the turning point was always gonna happen, but it just seems out of place to have so many episodes of drivel before they chose to do some plot developing. Strange to choose such a slap stick comedy style when the second half was so serious.

Final derived formula: (Onegai Twins + Wind, A Breath of Heart) * [slapstick factor] = W Wish.

Almost squeezes every romance clichéd phrases into a tiny anime. This is boring stuff for the regular anime viewers.

You may like this is you’re new to anime, but for those that have seen lots, there’s nothing new here. And it’s annoying too.

The phrase “Onii-chan” (Big brother) is mumbled far too frequently, and it’s not something said discretely either, rather it’s strongly emphasised. Also repetitive things such as “making memories” and “promise” adds to the annoyance.

The story is very slow, surprising for such a short anime. I felt that this anime shouldn’t have been made. The characters I didn't connect with, so the romance didn't work for me.

Despite that, both animation and sound were of good quality, a shame since they could ahve done so much more with it.

A time-waster anime, stay clear of this as you won’t gain anything from it at all.

Double Wish is a title that could have been a memorable anime, but due to two things will be called wasted potential. One thing is obvious incest hinting (in a very obnoxious way) other is too big cast in too few episodes (support cast consist of 6 characters, out of which 1 is somewhat important). And we have here 13 episodes 12 minutes each.

Other than this this anime has a pleasant feel to it, and many little things are made enjoyably. And mainly, because the concept on which this anime was made is original, fresh and realized almost well. Almost - characters are really dragging it down, harem and incest things as well.

Wah! What a cute anime ^^ the characters are so cute.. but they are not developed so much..I expected to more. They could tell what is the story of each character, because they started to do that, but sadly, they stopped. The story was nice.. but there was not plot at the beggining. after... 4 episodes I think.. the plot beacame interesting, and the end was.. um.. nice.. something unexpected and I really enjoyed from this anime, but I don't think there is a reason to watch here again.

W -Wish- is another of the 10min romance anime (this series is coupled with Final Approach, both by Princess Soft, to make up the 30min timeslot). Another similarity is the use of some kind of time twisting, world influencing effect that is similar to Wind ~A Breath of Heart~, Hani Hani Operation Sanctuary, and Natsuiro Sunadokei. W -Wish- is definitely slightly better in the story department than the anime mentioned before, but it still retains a lot of problems to prevent this anime to score much higher.

The animation for this anime is really inconsistent. In some episodes the drawing is really good, but in some others, you can see the jaggies and some weird character animation. One big style I don't like in these kind of romance anime is that the "adult" characters do not look adult at all, and every characters' face look 10 years younger than they should have.

The story premise is quite good, but also quite incestuous. The last 3 episodes are quite gripping with a satisfying ending. But it still suffer the "convert h-game to anime" syndrome where every character from the game must make an appearance in the anime. This detracts from the story a lot, since the side characters are especially useless here and takes away from the development of the main characters.

If you can stand the first 10 episodes of this series, then you might actually enjoy the last 3 episodes, but after finish watching this series, I just feel that almost every aspect in this anime can be improved.

W-wish originated from a H-game. If you have seen air, you will get an idea of what type of anime this is. Practically lots of H-game to non-H anime has love scenes, tragic scenes coupled with great graphics. Same also as Natsuiro. If you really like Air, Uta-kata then this anime is for you.

I might give it a little higher if this was the first kind of lame h-game spinoff anime. But it's not, there're hella lot of better anime out there and this one is definately belong in the trash.

You know what I wish? I wish they didn't made this anime. So I won't wasted my time on something useless and stupid. Here what this series lacks:
-No side story
-No character development
-No character support
-Main story wasn't interesting enough to begin with
-Op/Ed song is really really cheap. I bet my friend can sing better than that.
-AND LAST -Story is too fucking obvious.

Princess Soft should just stick with hentai and h-games. I don't even know why they made these craps.

Hmm.. another 13 episode 10 minute series.. which is all involved with romance.. please im getting sick of this.. anyways... W~wish's turn to face my wrath!

Firstly, W~wish is pretty, it looks good for a 13 episode series, it has a good soundtrack (better than some others) and the chaarcters signs are generally godo to look at though nothing too spectacular.

The story of this anime involves dimensions, incestuous relationships, confusing development and characters, sounds like another day at the anime office. W~wish shines bleakly with its half-assed story which tries to explain all but doesn't succeed. There were too many missing points but though the general story sounded nice, the execution was wrong. For starters, the actual story didn't appear until late on and the story could have done better with more emphasis on why certain stuff happened.

As a romantic anime, it didn't work, the incestuous relationship didn't work for me, though i don't mind the odd 'incest' relations like Da Capo and such where they aren't actually sister/brother, W~wish pushes it further and makes it real sister/brother relationship, though i wasn't sure if Haruhi was actually a sister/brother... the ending confused alot.

Anyways, nothing spectacular about this anime, comedy is very light, characters are plenty but very lightly developed, relationship is a hit and miss at the end and though the setting/plot is ok, it could have been better.

Overall: 5/10
Grade: D+

Another short-episode(about 10min/episode) show. As with all these kind of animes I don't expect much at all, since they never are comparable to a "normal" show.

I can start by saying that I didn't like this. Everything and everyone are too "cute", what I mean to say is that everyone looks like small kids. They are not that young, but by the looks of it even the adults could as well be around the year of ~16. Not so good character designs in other words. The sceneries however, looks quite nice.

Too many of the episodes is about the school festival, which make half of the show take place in a few days or so. Repetive and not amusing, even the music is out of place.
The voice actors aren't performing good from my point of view, or maybe they choose wrong actors for wrong characters, cause they don't sound that good.

It isn't all bad though, it can be pretty ok in some moments and it have a nice summerfeel to it.
Since it's a really short show I can't say it wasn't worth watching, but it sure wasn't something I will remember at all, enough to keep me watching, but only with the idea to finish it.
Bad conclusion and dissatisfying ending.

It started very boring, with an abused plot (close relationship between imouto and oneechan), and it just stayed boring until the middle.
Then after school's festival the plot started to be interesting, and quite surprising at the end.
The last two episodes were very good, unexpected from how this show started.

Maybe you would like to save your time for something better. But, a look here is worthed after all, since it's short: few episodes, few minutes..

Reveiw on 1st 5.

Animation: The art in this series is polished, crisp & clear. The animation creative in places & fairly nice to view. The brown school uniforms give it a warm-cuddly feel(8).

Sound: The voice acting is fairly good overall, it is a bit dissapointing with no voices (especially the girls) being overly cute or memorable. The op & ed are enjoyable though.(8)

Story: So far it has seem rushed & not very nice to watch at all. There is a definate incest/little sister cuteness theme which you may like (but you wont hate). The episodes are however are too short & the stories are suffering from it. At episode 5 however it seems to be taking a turn for the better...(7)

Characters, No character development yet & none of the characters have really had enough screen time to show us their personalities. Will they go any deeper in the 8 remaining short episodes?
Possibly. Have to wait & see.(6)

Value. This series i think is incest drama (with a very very tiny bit of humour) done bad. So far it lacks emotion in animation, sound, story & characters, which i feel needs pointing out because not many other animes do this, it feels more like a mathematical proof to watch than an anime! Technically/in-plain-sight there is nothing wrong with it but it all feels a bit "bleh".(6)

Enjoyment, its getting better & although saying "atleast its short" doesnt sound like im enjoying it. Its not that bad & i think its getting better!.(so im giving it 1+ (8+8+7+6+6)/5 = 8)

(will revise this reveiw after completion or sooner! Its an ok watch & i think you can find something alot worse. If you want something to get you warmed up for this, or your desperate for the next episode, watch Da Capo. Its has many similarities & is a very kickass watch!)
