| I enjoyed the original 999 movies and series, keeping in mind the age of them and their whole background with the universe they are set in and related other movies etc. This movie is nothing but a confused rehash of the old movies and feels like a failed attempt to bring 999 into the 90s. The plot is very weak and contrived and is actually only half a story as the movie ends very abruptly. The animation is ok but it missed the melancholic feel of the original. The characters have no depth to them and have developed in no way since the earlier movies. Watch this only if you are a truly hardcore 999 fan, but prepare to be disappointed!
