| Only seen the first two episodes that were fansubbed--but I thought this actually improved on the Comic Party TV series with better animation, a new character (Subaru) who I think was in the Dreamcast version of the game, and more comedy with less angst. One of the funniest OVAs I've seen in a while, animation was good, the characters were all entertaining, and I loved the OP and ED songs. Episode 1 mainly focuses on Subaru and Ayu, episode 2 is more focused on Eimi.

| Ich habe mir diese OVA ohne jegliches Vorwissen angeschaut da ich die TV-Serie nie gesehen habe somit hatte ich zuerst einmal Probleme mit der Flut an Charakteren die in diesen 2 Episoden (die 3. befindet sich soviel ich weiss noch in Produktion) auftreten da man offenbar die Serie gesehen haben muss um ihr Verhalten bzw. ihre "Macken" besser zu verinnerlichen da hier keinerlei Hintergrundifnormationen zu den Figuren preisgegeben werden und ein Großteil des Casts nur sehr kurze Auftritte hat. Trotzdem muss ich sagen das mir so mancher Chara recht sympathisch war und mir auch hier und da ein Schmunzeln entlocken konnte, wenn auch ohne allzu tiefen Eindruck zu hinterlassen. Von einer Story kann man hier eigentlich nicht sprechen: Die 2 Episoden unterscheiden sich inhaltlich voneinander und stellen mehr den Comedyaspekt in den Vordergrund. Viel gelacht habe ich zwar nicht unbedingt aber die OVA strahlt trotzdem eine gewisse "Happy-Atmosphäre" aus. Einmaliges Anschauen ist hier sicher nicht verkehrt auch wenn man die Serie nicht kennt kann man an Revolution seine Freude haben. Fans der Serie werden hier ohnehin sofort zugreifen.

| Comic party Revolution is a drastic change from the Comic party that i know and liked. From what i gathered, the cast has grown up and they somehow included a few new characters along the way. However, this (painfully) short 2 episode OVA has a few good points which makes it equal goodness to the TV series.
First off, the comedy, somewhat lacking in the TV series, the OVA is now filled with comedy value, its more wacky and much more fun to enjoy now. How very Comic party like but i enjoyed it still!
Another good point is the music, i didn't like the TV series opening/ending, and this OVA was very pleasing to listen.
Though, the OVA lacks in good structure or story, it's filled with comedy and in some respects, what Comic party should have been. A wacky funfest.
Overall: 7/10

| This anime follows the game with the same title faithfully, and those who played the game will easily accept the anime. On the other hand, there are a lot of parodies came from the games of AQUAPLUS/Leaf, and it is required to play these games if you want to fully understand the jokes. Talking about the parodies, there are a lot of baseball comic parodies in the 3rd episode. I laughed at the scene, but if you’re not familiar with baseball manga very much, you won’t understand any.
The quality of the anime is fairly good, and far better than TV series. The characters were more attractive. The main female character of the first episode is Hasebe Aya, this setting comes from the results of the vote for your favorite character. Because I like her best, I was very amused with the first episode.
The opening music is good, I like it.
