| Tristia is a town that is suffering from a bit of the blues. To snap it out of this, Mayor Griffin has set up a golem contest. In reality, he wants to get his hands on the specs of the mecha Tenzan, built by the grandfather of Nanaca.
I'm not sure why this is not tagged as ecchi; the opening scene of the second episode takes place in a bath, and four of the female characters are naked in it (private parts are blurred by steam, however.)

| Tristia actually had hope - the first ten minutes seemed like an okay medium quality story with weird uses for mechas. However, at one point it had to either turn towards plot or fanservice, and a panty show it was. Unfortunately, this ate up most of the credibility and the rest of the anime just decided to show fanservice where ever they couldn't figure enough real plot. It's really too bad, because I felt there was some hope. The main character seemed like someone who could've become interesting too. What a shame.

| The story is short, since its 2 eps. I have to say that this is enjoyable to watch, and the characters are trully different in some ways.
No harm seeing this, just don't expect complex story line. For light viewing only.

| Tristia is a inventor, she and her mech that looks strangely like Mazinger-Z clone is trying to rebuild a city. At least that's what I thought, instead she goes and enters and contest, beats up more Mazinger-Z clones and happy ending? At least that's what it looked like. Tristia is cute which about all I can really give this show some props for.

| Not all that good to be perfectly honest. Taken from a popular game of the same name, this is really mech-pokemon combined with ecchi. Animation wise this gets a two-thumbs-up from me. Everything is very smooth, very beautifull and the character deisngs are great, however, all the cutie-pie girls dont make up for the retarded mechs and their dome fights. Short ova's that dont offer any backstory CAN be good. Take a look at Azusa Will Help! for example. Unfortunatly Tristia is all looks, no substance. It's 2 episodes so watching it wont put you out for very long, but dont expect to get much out if it.

| Well I saw the first part of this OVa, with the golem battle. First off, its simple, very simple. The "story" involves cute little Nanoca Flanca as she is hired by Tristia to...well Im honestly not sure at this point, but the first part sure doesnt explain it. Im htinking she is some sort of brainy little inventor hired to make Tristia better through her technology, and far as I can tell her abilities are proven by these contests with GOlem, which seem to be robotic inventions that do various kinds of work. NAnocas is a combat robot though, so good luck getting it to do the luandry. Getting to the point, if youre looking for something with a story deeper than a kiddy wade pool then look elsewhere, but from what Ive seen, Tristia is decent, and entertaining as a short bit of fluff with some really cute character designs, a nice interesting and very oclorful setting and a really absurd overall idea, but somehow, it entertained me for 25 minutes and I want to see more. When you have an overdose of more serious anime and want something brainless and cute to watch, give Tristia a look. Just dont expect to be blown away by it.

| Let's see, I picked up this OVA because I wanted something lighthearted and simple and that's exactly what I got.

| I'm not sure where this is derived from (probably a game or something), but it's fairly cute. There's not much going on with the plot so far, and there probably won't be since it's an OVA, but it's entertaining enough for me to waste my time on it nonetheless...I especially like how Nanoka sounds like Mahoro ^^;;
