| This ridiculously weak anime has no use except to waste precious time that can be used for other things in life. Even as an ecchi anime, Smash Hit fails in life. Haunted by an annoying main female character, ugly character designs, and meaningless story, this 8 episode series is 8 episodes too long. (At least each episode is only 14 minutes each).
Starting from episode 1, we are introduced to this 25 year old woman who lives at home with her mom. She works at a movie/TV-series production company and is all of a sudden promoted to take on this task of doing a CosPlay show. Repeatedly, time and time again ... maybe about 6 times in 14 minutes... they emphasize the fact that she looks like a little girl with "middle school panties" flashes up at every possible opportunity by other people who work with other. Need I say sexual harassment?
As the episodes pass by, we have even more unbelievable yet convienent difficulties placed in Ikita's pathway to production of this show. I didn't watch until the end. I didn't have the patience, by half-way through, there was definitely no laughs, no fun, and no good story.
Now, if I was on the production staff of Smash Hit and this was a spoof on some mutual friend of the staff, I'd enjoy it. But for the rest of the world. Steer clear of this.

| too short to be a good anime i think, it has a preety good storyline, a bit different, but could of developed the characters and relationships a bit more. but as u see in this anime, u'll learn that it's not easy to produce a movie/anime... so i'll stop complaining...... btw, if u like to peek at cute girl's panties.. this may satisfy u..... but really, by the time u read all of these reviews, u'll be half way thru the series.....

| An anime about the making of Cosprayers. I would say this anime deservers to be seen at least once however to get the picture much better, watching Love Love and Cosprayers would be great. Besides the standard fanservice i'd say it has a very firm storyline.

| Well, it's better than Cosprayers. Than again it's hard to think anything worse than Cosprayers. Spanish inquisition perhaps?
This time there's an actual story and it's even logical. It's quite a nice story of growing up. Characters are left undeveloped (except for the main character) but at least I can say they have some kind of personality. There's fun jokes everywhere.
A watchable series but still quite forgettable.

| Whether you like ecchi or not, some credit needs to be given to MOE for this title. Through Smash Hit, MOE made their flop-of-a-series Cosprayers suddenly worthwhile to sit through.
Be it a continuation, or a parody of Cosprayers, Smash Hit follows our 25 year old up-and-comming television producer as she tries her very best to make a show as enjoyable as the detective program she grew up with. The show she ends up producing becomes "Chouhenshin Cosprayers" (yeah, remember that one from last season?). Anyway, this is a great ecchi\comedy from MOE. The characters are all super cute, supper ecchi moments, and it's got a ton of jokes. That said, you should really watch Cosprayers before this as you'll apreciate the characters and jokes even more.
Cosprayers was pretty bad but Smash Hit makes it all very worthwhile. Good job MOE, thumbs up from me.

| Well this short anime isnt worth watching. The main character looks like a little girl. She's the producer of Cosprayers. With the crew she decide to make the cosprayers how the wanted it. Altough it sounds interesting it isnt. I didnt like the character, there is no funny parts and the ecchi wasnt good either. I only watched the first 4 episode but it seems to go no where. There is still better animes even if you're bored. The animation wasnt bad.

| This is not a Anime that we can design as a Masterpiece or an excelent work, it has ( in my opinion ) a bad evelopment ( I didn't see all the chapters, but it seems that the story won't be more than it's at the first chapters ( a woman that her body seems as a girl's body, and for a mistake, she will be the producer of a kind of Film that she doesn't like ( she will be a Cosplayer producer ( n.n" ) ) ) ) , and the story is not very pretty ( however, is originally ), but after all, is a interesting comedy ( a litlle bit eichhi ). A good anime if you are bored ( but it isn't more than funny ).

| This anime is self parody at its finest. One can't look at Smash Hit! without looking back at Cosprayer, as that series is suppose to originate from this show. The story is basically about the trials and tribulations of Ikita Mitsuki, a movie producer that is having a hard time trying to create a TV series called Cospayers! She had to put up with studio execs ridiculing her, a film crew that is not very cooperative and a cast with huge egos. That right! Every campy moments and scenes of ridicule from Cosprayers are examined through the wacky situations in Smash Hit!
