| This one was just... well... weird, and uneven.
Di Gi Charat (Dejiko to her friends) is a princess from another planet that lands in Japan and wants to become a star. To this end, she gets a job at Gamers with her friends Gemma and Pujiko. Then rival Rabai-en-Rose shows up and tries to make Dejiko's life miserable.

| Er... uh... what the-- ... ....... I'm not sure how to review this. I didn't find it particularly funny, but it was strangely entertaining. Aside from the song that was the 15th episode, the music wasn't all that important, the animation was lazy throughout and while a few of the characters were well-designed, others were practically paper cut-outs. Not only that, but there was really no story whatsoever... But again, strangely entertaining... o_O;

| What to expect from this?
My girlfiend once said some things about this show and said it was super cute and weird. Now, me being fond of weird Anime, decided to give it a try.
I found Di Gi Charat to be hilarious! It's just slapstick humor with no storyline, no character development, no real BGM just pure HUMOR!
If you liked Dragon Half, I suggest you watch Di Gi Charat.

| Hrm... strange little anime this is. I cracked up on the Christmas Episode, that was so hilarious! I think any anime fan should watch this, because Digi Charat was automatically a classic! The story is very fun and simple, but creative in it's own way. I think the walking thumbs were a bit scary, but it has to do with gaming in Akihabara so I guess it's all good. The voicing was very good, not to mention the fact that I love Sanada Asami! Her voice is too COOLIO!

| I had to force myself to finish this. The animation sucks, the characters suck, the story sucks. Oh wait, there would have to be a story for it to suck. To top it off, I have really old encodes of the eps, so the video quality I watched it in was pretty bad too. This was supposed to be funny? It never even made me smile. The only thing I liked was the song in ep 15.
A note regarding the characters: what the heck? Here's a tip for the people who've reviewed this already. Just because the characters are cute, doesn't mean it's a good anime. That's called chaff. It's to draw your attention away from the absolute drivel. They could have at least given them personality. You know, besides the general sense of violent cute girls whose sole source of humor is derived from the toilet. You want to laugh at something random? Watch Azumanga Daiou.

| Despite the low scores I gave this series, I really enjoyed this anime. Initially, I believe it was created to air between other shows, hence the shortness and the inclusion of a bunch of hectic things going on in rapid succession in each episode. It has it's good points and bad like anything does, but overall, it's a really good show to get you over some quick boredom :P

| You will really fall in love with the characters of DejiCharat,
however about the animation part it's clearly it's almost a one-person job with no funding.
It jumps up multiple levels in the next season, but this anime clearly shows how a story is quickly told through only four-minute episodes.
The manga, however, is better than the original anime season.

| Di Gi Charat(that is, all of it, specials, movie, ovas, whatever...but not Panyo Panyo) is unique. Sometimes I find it really funny. Othertimes I just kinda look at it funnily and thank god it's only 3 minutes long. I think it's worth watching. In short, short bursts. It's songs are really noteworthy though...they're evil brainsucking memes that take over and won't let go.
Overall, I used Di Gi Charat more as a moodsetter than anything else. The movie, in particular, I found hilarious though, and I can see how it set off an entire fad in Japan. The fast, frenetic pace is to the extent that you'll rarely see it even in anime. However, it is pretty safe to say that you're missing very little if you never see a single 5 minute episode.

| There's nothing much to say about digi charat... it's just a wierd show who only aims at making you laugh for a while, and it works very well. if you're bored or depressed, then watch this and you'll feel better.
The art is very inequal, while having very cute neko girls, most of the other characters are just very hastly drawn and don't look like people at all, and it's about the same for building, but surprinsingly it fits the atmosphere of total nonsense of the series, so it's no big deal.

| Di Gi Charat is a weird case. No plot and weak animation but absolutely crazy characters. Since the episodes are so short I didn't have time to get bored and their silly little adventures tasted good. I recommend Di Gi Charat for those days when nothing seems to make sense. After watching things don't perhaps look any better, but at least you know they might be worse.

This must be the stupidest anime ever! I couldn't stop laughing while watching it!! I dare to say it makes Puni Puni Poemi sound like something REALLY serious.
The characters are ULTRA KAWAII but the animation could be a LOT better (but OK, I know... It is MEANT to be like this).
The story is just... Wait a minute: what story??? As it says in another website: "Di Gi Charat doesn't TRY to make sense!"
Even so, it is still a good anime. Until now I only managed to see the series, but I'm looking forward to the movie, the specials and Panyo Panyo ^-^
Recommended for those who can stand Excel Saga-like humor

Di Gi Charat is a simple 5 minute anime...yet, it brings so much out...Perhaps one of the most entertaining animes that I have ever seen...
