| Heh, the evolution of humanity sure looks gross, seriously, in what way are these monsters further in evolution than humans?
Devilman Lady is a show you shouldn't want to waste your time with. While the premise of the show isn't that bad, the show itself is. There's absolutely nothing you can learn here. Monsters ripping each other to shreds, story, which appears to be more of an excuse and characters, who are mostly yawn inducing.
Nope, not recommended. I still can't think of a situation in which this anime could be thoroughly enjoyed.

| A very dark anime, but not confusing. Pretty much it just a beast come up then you beat, the strongest win. Follow the story wasn't so hard and series have very slow pace. You'll see a lot of people dying, only one person that appear in early ep. last long enough to finish her task at the end. If you are too scare or afraid of blood(not just red lol) I say you stay away from this horror anime but if you a blood hunger beast like the title WATCH IT you might see some of your own appear lol.

| This is very much my favourite anime of all time, and so I'm going to justify that by explaining why. I love horror anime and I loved Devilman, but this is a lot better than even that. That is because of the charisma and genuine anguish of the main character, Jun Fudo. In fact it is her character and how it develops is principally what this anime is about and that is what makes it so watchable. The animation is good except it's not very consistent in quality. The music and cast are all excellent and the ADV box set is incredible value for money.

| Best Go Nagai anime ive ever seen. It is a very dark and violent show. I didn't really think i would like it after the 1st episode because it was boring for the most part. But once I was a few episodes into it I loved it. A bigger plot develops later on in the series. One problem though was that some characters don't have much of a persoanality. Some were likable while some of them are stiff. I like Devil Lady more than I like devilman. Both the dub and the sub are well done and the music suited the series well. Even the ending came out pretty well. Most animes that i see leave you hanging at the end.

| Animation~ Weakest part of the show. The animation is horrible. Nothing to say really....
Sound~ The sound was good. The voices of the main characters were done very well but the normal citizens, etc. were done very horrible. The musiq was very good and shockingly better than a lot of popular anime musiq. The sound effects were average.(dubbed version)
Story~ The story is sorta similar to Witch Hunter Robin but it is even better. The story is very dark and crazy. It is definietly sad at times. You may cry a few times. The story really develops very well near the last 3rd of it.
Character~ The characters were ok. While some were great others were horrible. Jun was a really great character and so was her friend that lived wit her. Asuka was another good one. Mostly the rest of the cast was horrible though.
Value~ There really ain't that much value. They have trailers and afew other dumb things for extras but nothin special.
Enjoyment~ I thought this series was a shocking surprise being so good. It was very interesting and I recommend it to everyone who loves horror or wants to cry a lil.
All in all this show was very touching. I cried in it a few times especially near the end. The story and half the characters are the best part. Also the atmosphere is great. I recommend this to anyone who wants to feel a lil crazy or think crazy thoughts up some time. This show will make you think especially near the end. Good show! Go and get it big boi!

| Go Nagi breaks out of the Cutey Honey mold with this reworking\retelling of his classic series, Devilman. And suprisingly, all of the stuff we love to hate about Nagi's work is almost non-existent here. Fierce action, a stunning lead female that you can easily connect with as far as her termoil and role in the story, musical score that is perfect for the series, and a well thought out story with many twists and turns that you probably wont see comming all help make DML a great watch. In typical Nagi fasion, however, the ending of the seires doesn't do the rest of the show justice; although it does work and is a fitting ending to the story.
I guess a lot of people here dont like the show. I thought it was pretty darn impressive on many ascpets. It's out on dvd, the box set is wicked cheap (about 40 bucks). Take a chance on it, buy it, watch it. You may just suprise yourself.

| Firstly, let me say whatever preconceived idea you have of this anime, it’s wrong. This anime has for me flipped ALL of my expectations of it up side down and in my very very honest opinion, you’d be a fool not to see this (but you’d probably not take this advise of mine anyways which is a real shame.)
The animation was very nice, at times the proportions wrong very out, but some times, they were beautiful, smooth and can compete with almost any Manga movies.
The characters were great, the main character s one of the sexiest and loviest female I have seen, just great. The other characters lacked a bit, but since the main focus was on Jun and Asuka, it was okay. Auska was also a average character, not the best villain I have seen, could have done better there I think.
Okay for those of you who think of this as “ALL MOSNTER ACTION!!!! THEREFORE RUBBISH!� you can’t be more wrong, really, the monster action was plentiful, but by no means the main thing of this anime, this anime is a very touching and emotional anime, the story twists and turns until you find yourself really wrapped up in it. The monster designs were close to that of Berserk’s and the contents of the story at times very mature and can be that of a hentai’s.
Sound…yea that was great, could have incorporated it much more though, but when used it was good.
Another thing that did surprise me was the horror in it, at time, it did really scare me or made me feel unease, which was rare in animes in general.
Honestly, eps 1-3…great, 4-14 or there abouts…not great, but after that, it goes off with a bang and things start to get really interesting.
Overall, very good, and I don’t know why people haven’t seen this, I deceided to check this out when I saw the lead female, and to my supirse, this was a gem.
EDIT: the score does not represent the quality of this anime, i was being harsh on it and it is very old.

| Devilman Lady has a lot of quality animation and has stunning visuals.
The music is good and often create horrific atmosphere. The battle scenes are not the best, but above average. The monster designs are not very original and some of them really look funny to me. However, the mood of this horror anime is one of the best I have seen. from the intro to end, it never fails to create suspense. I also like the character designs and the art style. A very good horror anime for anyone to enjoy.
