| i really enjoyed watching the first 35 minutes of movie 3 but then it went too much the usual way again. at first the bad guys appear to be clumsy idiots and that was hilarious. but in the end all is the same again. like in the previous movies sanji and zoro fight the underlings and luffy kicks the big boss ass. i am getting bored of seeing this though i am never tired of luffys and his crews voice acting. especially chopper who has his first appearance in a movie is very likeable dubbed. overall except the usual bungled moral they tell again by encouraging a little kid to throw his life away again it is fun to see all the imaginative beings and see the straw hat pirates doing funny scenes.

| I can't say the 3rd One Piece movie is as impressive as the second, but that's mainly because it's a much "cuter", sillier and far more fun movie ^__^
This movie was made sometime after the guys meet Chopper and the story mainly focuses on him when he's crowned King of the Animals on a strange Island filled with very peculiar looking creatures.
There's still some very impressive fight scenes, plenty of humour and above all tons of fun ^__^
Watch this before the Skypiea arc.

| Although this One Piece movie, in my opinion, has more solid story than the second One Piece movie, I dont really like Chopper all that much.
This One Piece movie is basically focused on Chopper.
Again, the villains aren't very cool. And they literally are stupid, in the sense that they give out 'secrets of their great plan.' However, I enjoyed watching this more than the second one piece movie.
The island that they are on is very interesting, Chopper has his own sense of humor that if you like this style, you'll love this movie.
As usual, it plays upon the one piece character stereotypes and they all act the usual way. The final boss fight was decent, Chopper goes all out, and as usual.... there is the kid with the dream in this story. A boy who lives on an island of all animals because his father was killed, and his dream is to avenge his father, well somewhat.
I guess I mainly didn't like this One Piece movie that much because I dont like Chopper all that much.
However, its worth taking a look if you are a huge one piece fan.
Doesn't really change the TV series at all, just a fun filler.

| This wasn't so good as movie 2 from One Piece, but it's was better than the first movie. Sometimes it was a bit boring, and the fights are a bit weird, you'll expect some differents in the fights. The main character in this movie is Chopper, but he doesn't fight that much, which was a bit dissapointing. The animation is as good as the second movie, the sound idem. The villians were alright, the fights was really short and quickly finished. If you're wondering which movie should I watch, 1, 2 or 3? You probably should choose movie 2.

| This is the 3rd movie for one piece & on with the review!
Animation, the animation in this movie is better than the series, but it seems to be due to shading effects. Personally i dont like these shading effects & would have much prefered nomal animation. (7)
Sound. New songs yay! Voices are normal, no faults, nothing new or glorious. Good stuff still (9)
Story. The story is a bit dumb, there is a story, & it has some detail but otherwise it doesnt belong to the series & almost seems like a waste of time. It does remeind you of choppers personality which i forgot. (7 its also slightly boring).
Character, it is the one piece cast, and all the new characters suck. Also we dont get to see the main characters in enough action, + this develops the characters none-at-all. Very dissapointing. New characters also look awful. (6).
Value, its belongs to one piece... you have really got to have it. Not worth watching if you dont like one piece though.
I didnt enjoy this Movie very much, in fact it was almost (almost!) a chore to watch. I dont want to see it again. + the ending sucked too. It is a dissapointment from what we have come to expect from OP.
edit:(you might like it a bit more if you like football. Thats the appetizer which i should have remembered in the reveiw. But its a let-down-too from "Dance carnival"!)
2nd edit (after reading reveiws). This is the 2nd worst OP movie after the 1st (you now know more what to expect!).

| I waited so long for this movie to be released. Finally, it was, but, sadly, I am unimpressed by it.
The animation was filled with vibrant colors, but it just seemed like they could have done more... I mean, come on, this is a MOVIE. I felt that the second movie had better animation, just about.
The sound was decent, the music was good and the character voices were as good as always. However, I wasn't blown off my feet by it.
The story was.. meh. It was kinda cool how Chopper was gonna be crowned the animal king but.. with only 50 minutes runtime or so, it was too short to be well-developed.
The characters didn't show any "new development" in the movie. Its understandable, considering its a movie of the series (and the series never refers to it). The new characters, besides looking extremely bad, also sound extremely bad. Of these new characters, the antagonists are defeated (obviously, what did you expect).. but it was too easy...got very little enjoyment out of it. There was a little mildly-interesting development with Miyubi or whatever the main kids name is.
Overall, I probably wont watch this movie again. I wont avoid it like the plague, but, you get the idea. I enjoyed it enough for a single watch, as much as the average movie. If youre a One Piece fan you'll definitely like it.

| I tend to be harsh on tv series based anime movies. Because they usually do not push the plot anywhere, the story is often a throw away. You already know whats going to happen and you know it more or less does not exist within the timeline of the show.
With this in mind, I watch the movie hoping to see something I have not yet seen. For a movie based off a TV Anime, I look for fluid and rich animation and action sequences not already seen.
One Piece Movie 3, despite maintaining its usual kaydence of character interaction and humor, really doesn't do anything within its 90 something minutes. I went through the motions of watching the DBZ movie formula (everyone gets their ass beat until the end where the main hero pulls a victory from deep within his ass) until the film rolled to its obvious conclusion.
Honestly I was hoping Chopper would clean house or that maybe for some really sleek looking action scenes. None of that happened though. And in retrospect, this is probably the second weakest OP movie, right behind the first one. However this is OP I'm speaking of so its worth a watch at least once. If you're a fan, you won't be totally bored.

| Auch dieser One Piece Movie ist nach dem Schema der ersten 2 Movies aufgebaut. Wie gewohnt landen Ruffy + Crew auf einer Insel um einen mächtigen Gegner in die Flucht zu schlagen. Das ändert aber nichts daran das auch dieser Film mächtigen Spaß macht, besonders da endlich auch Chopper mit am Start ist. Für jeden One Piece-Fan definitiv empfehlenswert!
Ziemlich geiler Ending-Song mit tollen dazugehörigen Szenen BTW :)
