| I will try and be honest with this anime, because I have mixed emotions about it as you can tell with the rating. First off I want to let people know several of the episodes I watched were in english... and that sucked. Whatever moving on. This is your typical harem anime which is fine by me but you will notice a few things as the story progress that really begin to frustrate you. Also this is very ecchi. I mean I was a bit shocked it didn't have the label on this site since it is VERY ecchi. That doesn't bother me I just figured you guys should know. Anyway on to the review.
I have seen better animation by far, but I love this style of animation. It is by far my favorite, but they did not do a whole lot to make it something worth praising. It wasn't horrid it was just average.
The sound. Well normally I would rate the voice actors as well as the songs but since I saw most of the show in english, which had horrible voice actors I will pass on rating the voices and pray you watch this as it should be subbed. The music was nice, and kinda catchy but again in a few days I won't remember it, but it was still ok.
Story: There is a bit of a few spoilers in here, so read on if you want. If not skip to the value section. The main characters. The story really is about Yuusuke and Midori and how they in a past life were in love but couldn't be together. So they promised each other in another life they would come back and finally get the chance to be together. Well in the 21st century an all boys school gets a visit from a group of students from an all girls school where the two meet. Midori remember their promise but Yuusuke doesn't. Start the drama. What makes it worse Yuusuke doesn't really like Midori, but has the chance with other girls like Futaba another student at the school. Throw in some comedy from Yuusuke's friends and you have yourself Green Green TV. The ending was much better than I expected. I didn't call the ending and that is very good because I was going to be very frustrated if it ended the way I was thinking it was going to.
Yuusuke was a decent guy. He was nothing special. I did like the fact that he wasn't a perfect person but he still is that typical nice guy sometimes a bit of a perv hero. Midori I did not like at all she was a boring flat character with the typical bouncy clingy girl. LAME. I didn't really like her character design either, but eh anyway. Futaba was my favorite character. Her character design was nice and she had a nice bit of character development. The side show like the tri of Yuusuki's were pretty stupid but they did have their funny moments like an awkward situation with a bear.
I enjoyed this anime more than I should have, and I know it. I really enjoyed the end more than the begining so just heads up on that. Overall I would watch this again, and still have a decent time watching it.

| For a series based off a eroge and crammed into a 12 episode TV series, this was actually rather enjoyable. The male characters are a bit over the top in their depictions, but the humor is mostly good natured and fun.

| Yet again i was searching for a cool Anime to watch. After a bit of searching i arrived at an Anime called "Green Green TV". It had all the right genre's i wanted, so i started watching. It starts off a bit strangely, but it seems fun. After a few episodes you start to find the main characters friends really annoying. They're more like using him instead of being friends, and they're to pervy. The anime included alot of nudity and pervy stuff, it's ok sometimes, but this was considered way to much ecchi.
After you start to get the hang on the story, more weird pervy stuff appear. Throughout the story their personalities haven't really grown, just a bit of love, that's it. Only thing shown is pervy stuff, which is way to pervy, and this love thingie. So i would say this Anime is ok, but it's definatly not worth more then this.
Also the ending is pretty dissapointing.

| A long time ago, two lovers were caught in a forbidden love. They promised to meet again in the future.
Green Green is about Kananone academy's experiment to become co-ed for a summer. Previously all male, the school experiments with a group of students. Leading the welcoming committee is Takazaki Yuusuke. He is the male reincarnation of the lovers. In the female party is Chitose Midori, the female reincarnation of the lovers. Yuusuke does not remember their love initially, and Midori does. The story tells of Midori's attempts to win over Yuusuke's heart.

| Reminds me of Maburaho and Girls Bravo. Main guy is kind of a jerk, and his friends are annoying as hell. I loved the main girl though, really cute and nice. Story is nonexistent until the last few eps. Lots of weird, perverted things in this series, most of which sickened me. Fairly hot chicks I guess. Music was punk/ska, scarcely a hint of Japanese influence.
Neutral recommendation. There are better series for ecchi--check Grenadier or Girls Bravo, maybe Shuffle which was also based on a game. Series based on games just cannot muster the same stories as manga-based series, as Shuffle also packed in all of the meaningful stuff in the last few eps. I wouldn't say to avoid this, but do watch several other superior series first. Then get to this when you're bored like I was.
A little points breakdown:
3 friends and ending hurt a lot, main girl helped a lot. Changes in these 3 things could've resulted in large swings in my points. I could have forgiven the 3 friends if I had a better ending. Lots can be forgiven with good endings, since that is usually what ultimately makes or breaks series.
PS. It just occurred to me that I don't have a problem with perversion unless it involves guys, which it does much too frequently in this series. I'm not cool with seeing hairy faces and legs, fat stomachs and man boobs all the time. Also lots of suggestive or explicit humor revolving around male anatomy or reproduction. It's disgusting. It could have all been ok if it were girls, like Girls Bravo. I think the makers of the series were somewhat deranged in including all the male humor. Might appeal to gays but I'll pass. "Male ecchi", if you will, and not even bishounen since the guys are ugly dorks. Maburaho, GB and Shuffle first.

| The background is blotchy, but is nice enough to watch. Characters are drawn with solid colors. Nothing is spectular, but everything is up to date.
For sound, there isn't a lot of wonderful music in the anime. But from time to time, they had the right piece of music to go along with the events. Both the opening and ending has a punk-like feel, that goes with the hectic events of this anime. Nevertheless, it's not bad to listen to.
The story was lame overall. It's mostly about perverted stuff (i.e. peeking). At the ending, when Yuusuke remembers, is the part where it actually did show something good. Green Green had a lot of potential to be a good love story: the ending was quite dramatic. But I don't like the way that falling down a muddy slope equals near death, there's a lot of that style already in Chinese tv shows, and in soap operas. And the whole time travel stuff doesn't fit into this anime, even though it does go smoothly. Too much was just centered around sick perversions than with dramatic love scenes.
Characters did not seem unique. I didn't see anything special in the characters themselves. Character exploration was few and only confined to a small number of the characters. I just didn't feel a connection to the characters. Green Green focused too much on stupid events than actually giving some decent time for some character development.
For value, I give it a 5; the dramatic ending wasn't enough to make me forget the other parts. There's not much to get from this anime. It's mostly guys doing perverted things that is sickening to the average person. Green Green does make a nice attempt to satisfy viewers in the end, but that doesn't overcome the horrible events throughout the rest of the anime. I even felt like they could have done better, easily, just by giving more focus on love and drama between Yuusuke and the other girls.

| This series is based on an H-Game, so you really can't expect much in the way of story, but it was still enjoyable, and not for the fanservice.
The story itself isn't perverted, it's more the characters. Three of them to be precise, and watching their antics is pretty hilarious. Unlike a lot of other animes I've seen (even others based on H-Games) Green Green makes open references [VERY open] to perversion.
More than that though, the show feels different than other game-based animes.
Maybe it's cause it's isolated in the mountains, or the unusual openess of the characters. Either way, well worth watching.

| From an objective point, Green Green follows a very formulaic hentai game plot and is very plain. Not surprising, since it is supposedly based off of a game. The only thing a little difference from other hentai games is that this one has some sort of time travel fate theme tied through it. In the end, this is just some perverted first 10 episodes, end tear jerker type anime. A style of anime that has sadly been all to pervasive recently.
First of all, a little warning, the first 10 episodes are extremely, extremely, extremely perverted. I don't think I've seen anything more perverted than this. Naked boobs everywhere, direct references to masturbation, peeping toms up the wahoo. This is the most extreme thing I've seen. If you take offense easily, or do not want to even risk it, or are female and would feel demoralized, then do not watch this. To be honest, if you don't enjoy this type of humor, you won't really enjoy 85% of this anime.
After all the perverted stuff, its the whole ending tear jerker stuff. The last episodes finally have some story elements. Of course, since 85% of this anime consists of perverted jokes the characters are hardly developed at all. Therefore, the last 3 episodes can only be summarized by evoking raw human emotions that are not built up by this anime alone. It touches upon our own carnal instincts and exploits them to create some sort of emotional ending. In a way, I succumb to it, in another, I am kind of annoyed that they'd have to resort to these tricks.
Either way, I really enjoyed the character designs. All the main character girls have a very "weak" composure that makes guys can't help but to feel for them. As usual, the main character male is plain, boring, has very little defining traits (so you can more easily put yourself in his role). To be honest, this is one of those animes where you only watch it because you like one or two of the girl characters and kind of cheer them on to get what they want. If you're annoyed of this kind of anime, not watching this is nothing bad.
In the end, I thought this anime was very enjoyable. I thought that the perverted antics of the male trio were hilarious and I laughed out loud like crazy. Call me whatever you want, but I think their thoughts are kind of reflective (to an extreme) of normal male thoughts. Having them in such an exaggerated form made it al the more entertaining. The girls are cute, I cheered for Futaba all the way through, and it definitely kept my interest through all the way to the end.

| Well what can really be said for this anime besides the fact that it is pure incongruent hilarity paired with a so-so story? Alright, yes, it's Ecchi, but that only adds to the humor of this anime. The characters are each unique and have their own sets of characteristics while and the interactions are well done. The animation, I believe, is quite well done, not rough at all. The story is the only thing that holds this anime back at all, it was a little weak but still had a decent ending.
All in all, this is an anime for anyone who is looking to laugh uncontrollably.

| I have a very double feeling about this anime.
It has two animes in one, actually. It could have been an all out ecchi anime, but the last 2,5 episodes where completely different. The last part would have been a great anime on its own. The last part had great potenional, the first 9,5 episodes weren't that good. Some scenes where disgusting, and shouldn't have been show anyway. It is not the best anime, but also isn't the worst.

| One of the best anime I've ever seen. When I saw the DVD front-cover, I thought "this would be a good anime". It's weird, because sometimes appereances can be cheatty. Whatev'. The characters design is gorgeous, the animation is admirable, and the story, though is kinda empty at some points of the series, is good. Particularly I loved this anime, it is hilarious, and the ecchiness and comedy are omnipresent. In the end, is worthy of seeing.

| well... When I just started to watch this anime I really thought that the echiness went way to over but watching some episodes more, I got used to it. This anime really shows some naughty points but it's not even close to hentai...
Animation is almost perfect and there is no complaining about that.
Sounds are good. I really like the opening of green green TV and characters voice acting is good either.
The Story of Green Green tv isn't good and I think that the more you watch this anime, the story gets even worse. They are often just replaiced for couple of pervert jokes. In couple of last episodes there is a thing that you can call story but it really is not good.
If there is something good in this anime, it will definetly be its characters. Yuusuke and his fellows are just so good in their role that it makes me want to laugh.
I think I will value this anime because it's fun to watch and pretty short too an I recommend green green tv to every one that dare to watch it :)

| Well, if echiness can be maxed out somehow this would be probably my guess for the title which would do it. Tons of panty shots, semi-naked girls, pervert jokes and something even beyond that. Something that borderlines with hentai - but if you're courageous enough, continue reading.
Animation: It's ok, nuthin' special. Art is good also.
Sound: I liked the op alot, other than that there's nothing special in the music section. Some of the seiyuus sound really annoying, like our main girl. Gah.
Story is overall stupid. It's shallow and even the ending is very bad (See the latest OVA for a real ending..).
Theres an all boy school and there's a tryout to make it an mixed school with girls. Ofcourse these boys who've lived in all-out isolation are more or less lustful for the things come. When the girl's bus arrives, our main character goes to the bus and has a girl jumping on him, who he has never seen before (or atleast remembering it). The girl on the other hand, knows him by his name and..
Oh well. The story revolves around solving this "mystery" and all sorts of everyday ecchi-jokes in all it's forms. If you don't mind the stupid story, then you can head on to the characters.
Characters: Main character is the only normal guy at the school, with three weird friends (The Baka-trio) who are very desperate to get in closer contact with the girls. With these elements, we have an ready soup of ecchiness, when these guys try to get to know more of these girls.
Value & Enjoyment: If you like ecchi genre and looking for something with more ecchi than usual, then this would be your case. It's a good time killer and it'll get you laughing for sure, if you forgive the stupid and weak story. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone other than those who're more familiar with the genre.

| This anime is the queen of Ecchi genre itself. There is so much ecchi that it surprised even me... Girl's underwear, semi-naked girls, extremely perverted jokes and gags, and even men crossdressing like women, and touching themselves. If this what I've said scares you, and you particulary don't like ecchi, then run from this show, run shouting, and tell everybody who dislikes ecchi to run from it.
Comedies never particulary have good stories or characters, and this is no exception. The story consists merely of two schools emerging into one. Which are boys-only gymnasium and girls-only gymnasium, you can already get a grip why its ecchi don't you? Guys who haven't had a contact with any girl for years, living somewhere in outskirts of civilization finally get a chance to meet girls, and show them their lust. They are not very shy either, obvious aproach, obvious peeping, obvious sick expressions... Only the main character is not a sick pervert, that's what makes him main I guess.
On the other hand girls don't want to contact with boys so much, there is only one perverted girl in their bunch, but she does such a minor, comedy-only role that she is not important. Oh, yeah they add some mystic elements too, a girl appears from nowhere, jumps on a main character and asks if he remembers her. Of course, he doesn't, yet she doesn't give up and sticks with him all the time. Talking about somekind of past life or something. Well, I understood everything at the first minute, as there is an annoying line at the beginning of each episode "long long ago in the past, a man and woman fell into love, but that love was forbidden at that time, so they promised to be reborn and reunite in the past", those words are said when shadows of those two persons I mentioned before are kissing. You probably thought, "well it doesn't seem so bad", but believe me, it's a weakness of this show, as it's so unbelievable and lame, it's impossible to take it seriously in such extreme comedy-ecchi show, you are more willing to take it as a joke rather as a serious plot indication.
So much to be said... If you like ecchi then watch this show, and you'll love it. Personaly I like ecchi pretty much, so I enjoyed this show pretty much too. Though if you hate ecchi, avoid this, as this show has the most ecchi'ness of all ecchi shows I've ever seen.

| I liked Green Green tv, true it is a VERY ecchi show but I don't find the story to be all that bad. The characters made this series for me, they were just so eccentric and funny. The animation and music were good as well. If you want to know more about this fairly good series read on.

| Sometimes I wonder what group of viewers this anime is made for. Since it is ecchi and filled with half-naked girls my guess would be single and horny male teenagers but somehow I feel that even them must feel disgusted and embarrassed by the behavior of the three main bedwetters in this story. Talking about story, did I mention that this anime has no story and no meaning at all? It just plainly sucks and is probably among the worst shit I have ever seen.
I didnt know this was an ecchi when I someone recommended it to me (Lol yes I slapped him for doing it) and since I dislike sleasy "ecchi" animes I took a special dislike to this piece of trash.
I recommend that you stay away from this crap and dont even bother buying, downloading or whatever you do to get your stuff.
STAY AWAY!

| Geez, the ecchiness was good, but sometimes, I think it's overdoing it, with the guys pursuing their wet goals. In fact, I think there was excessive ecchiness in the beginning. Overall, I found it amusing. The story starts a bit slow and picks up near the end, which is unfortunate for viewers. I guess it didn't quite meet up to my expectations, but it was ok to watch. Not for children!

| Okay first thing first. This anime is your basic ecchi with a little story. Okay story itself sounds sucha cliche and it starts to take place in the end only, but I don't think it was bad. Yeah a lot isn't explained but this is mostly ecchi with fan service. Seen a lot worse ones.
Animation is done well although baka-trio is drawn in more simplified way usually, but maybe that's just cause they wanted to bring them out.
Didn't pay much attention to sound but Op and ED was fine i think.
So story isn't this anime's best part, but like I said it's not the worst I've seen. Ep 1-9 are basically just random ecchi and fan service and eps 10-12 are for the story. But there sure were some insane moments in the first 9 eps Like Baka-trios Yaoi-experience. It was at the same time hilarious and shameful, like make you wanna puke and laugh your guts out at the same time. The ending was left open so they could make possibly more(at least an OVA has already come, although it was mostly just hentai and fan service and not much of the story itself).
Now as for character's. As this anime is based on h-game there are some stereotypic female's. Midori the energetic, freewilled, determined girl who chases her dream guy. Somehow I didn't like all that motivation and spirit she had all the time except a few moments. Futaba is your regular violent, guyhating tomboy who finds her femine self and gets attracted to boy(s). Futuba did fit in this anime and somehow they made her have some feelings bringing some credibility to her. Liked her character too. Then there's the weak, unhealthy girl who's kinda scared of guys(Sanae) and the airhead(Wakaba) who's whacked to something(cactus) and the teacher with F-cup(K maybe G-cup) breasts(Chigusa), these character's don't do much in the animea as their just there as stereotype's for the h-game. Yuusuke is your all around kind and unselfish guy who has some mixed emotions and isn't perverted. Yeah seen that about few billion times so nothing new. Then there are the Idiotic trio which in my opinion are the essence of this anime. If you think they're disgusting don't watch this anime. All they do are perverted things and can only think about girls. At first I didn't like them, but the things they did made me laugh and they got themselves in the most bizarre situations so how can you not like them.
Now the overall value and enjoyment isn't much unless you like ecchi/comedy. But if you do this will make you laugh.
