| Bei dieser OVA haben wir es mit einer recht herkömmlichen Zusatz-Episode zu tun die sich um das Ex Driver-Team dreht das vor dem Trio aus der vorangegangen OVA im Einsatz war. Was als erstes positiv auffällt ist, dass die Animationen einen deutlichen Sprung gemacht haben. Die Optik befindet sich ungefähr auf dem Niveau von Inital D 4th Stage und sowohl die CG-animierten Autos als auch deren Physik lassen die Verfolgungsjagden eine ganze Ecke realistischer und rasanter aussehen. Der Inhalt dieser Episode ist nicht wirklich etwas Besonderes und man bekommt den allseitsbekannten "Ich war ein Mitglied vom Team aber ihr seid doof zu mir gewesen, also räche ich mich und mach das Team kaputt"-Plot vorgesetzt. Die Lead-Charaktere Nina und Rei sind fast so Klischee wie das 3er Team aus der ersten OVA und tiefere Einblicke oder Entwicklung sind selbstverständlich gar nicht erst drin wenn man die Spielzeit der Episode bedenkt. Alles in Allem ist diese OVA zwar besser als so ziemlich jede Folge des Vorgängers aber mehr halt auch nicht.

| Whoohoo this was FUN! This was my first experience in the world of eX-D, and I just adored it! It reminded me of an episode of Miami Guns - two strong female leads, kicking ass and destroying property left and right - it was so energetic! I can see why eX-D is so popular in Japan (well, at least enough to get a Movie)! That said, it's too bad that Rei and Nina aren't the REAL stars of eX-D... :(

| Just like another ep. for me again. Although they add some fanservice for some scene when they goofs off in the cars and such.

| Not a real big fan of the Ex-driver series, but it was one of the early fansubs i watched back in '01.
I actually liked Lisa and Lorna better than Nina and Rei.
So this short OVA really didn't do it for me. But there was some nice animation though.

| True eX-D style. Great CG - especially the heart stopping opening chase sequence. The sfx and bgm are good too.
Can't help feeling that the oav is too short though. The plot is simple, with just a couple of predictable twists, and character and story development is almost inexistent - you can't squeeze much in 25 minutes, huh.
Good to watch for the action alone - good thrill for a short show. Also a must for eX-D fans.

| Great addition to the eX-Driver series. If you liked either the OVA series or the movie then you wont want to miss out on this.

| If you like éX-Driver, especially the first four episodes of it, don't miss this little addition. This ova provides some nice background on my favorite éX-Rider Rei from the original É-Driver series. In all aspects this OVA is much the same as the original.
