| This anime really is a waste of time
-Story doesn't finish and leaves you hanging
-Characters look and act homosexual, which makes it not that fun to watch
-Plotline isn't even explained, it just gives you some generic dumb reason why something happened and leaves you with more questions
-Soundtrack isn't anything noteworthy
-Only 6 episodes and they still waste parts of them with unnecessary side-stories that don't apply at all to the oveall plot

| Its my strong personal opinion that this anime could have, how do you say? 'Gone places...' It *had* potenial. Unfortunately the whole thing was one cliche after another. Really if you weren't busy predicting what was going to happen next you were probably off looking for a better anime to watch, because this one was really dull and EXTREMELY repetitive. I'm guessing there was a reason why they only made 6 episodes?
I will point out some good qualities though. Although the characters personalities were typical, their style of appearance was good. Visually they're memorable characters -- However it did feel like they pushed the femininity a little too far. Aside from most of them looking like girls, most of them ACTED like girls too, and although it could be aruged that could help the character's originality - It didn't.
Its a pity this anime's plot left you hanging in mid air, but I'd say its even worse that it was created with so many holes. Even though you got a 2 minute briefing of who the Saint Beast are, you don't understand why they were chosen or how the 'class' system works in their society. It was like you were meeting all these characters and you had no idea who they were or what their ranking were. BUT...
Most of all... it never explained why the 'bad guys' left heaven? I know they said they wanted more power, but was that really it? The 'bad guys' never explain anything infact you see them in only half the episodes! Since the whole reason we watch the anime is to see the Saint Beast stop the 'bad guys'isn't it just common sense to explain their reasoning?

| I, unlike most other reviewers, did not hate this anime. Certainly it wasn't the best I have seen, but I liked it well enough. I will admit though, it wasn't the fast moving exciting plot that drew my attention.
I first watched this anime because of the setting, I have always been a fantasy sort of person, and this grabbed my attention. Actually the entire setting is extreamly similar to Earthian.
It also wasn't the story which kept me watching up to the sixth episode. Mostly it was the characters. The characters are similar to others I have seen in other anime, but that is bound to happen considering the huge amount of anime out there. Sometimes it's hard to be completely original when there is so much already there.
I found the characters pretty interesting. Not so much about what they give you about the characters. More about what they didn't. Meaning that there is so much more in the character developement that they could have explored and didn't. So that left them like blank pieces of paper for me to fill up. I was able to imagine all sorts of things left out of the series that should have been put in. For me that made it all sort of exciting. Exciting, meaning my mind was kept busy makin' up these crazy personality quirks and messed up pasts for all the characters. Works hard on one's brain it does.
The animation is super cute in my opinion. Well, I call everything cute. Yet it really was pretty. Enough to watch even if only to look at. I could have watched it raw and still had a bit of fun.
Some might call this anime boring, I like to say it's just a bit over detailed. More like you are reading an essay, then reading a book. If you get what I mean by that. Of course you are talking to a girl who reads essays in her spare time, so that made this anime to my enjoyment.
Overall, this is anime that would be good but only for a specific sort of audience. I will admit I was a bit disappointed, but that's good for my character I suppose, eveyone should be disappointed once and a while. If you want to watch this anime, you have to be one who likes detailed, overly so, things. Also you must be some sort of a fanfiction person, because if you like fanfiction and developing characters yourself then you'll like this because there is a lot of room for that here.

| This is worse than Narutaru. Worse. No, I didn't think that was possible either, but somehow, these dudes have created the ultimate pile of shit.
Story sucks, characters are gay (not because they're "pretty" (nani ga pretty? to me they just look like transvestites), but rather because they are shallow and stupid and always does retarded stuff), sound is decent.
I'd like to quote some genious who made me laugh my ass off just recently for his hilarious words: "Yeah, there were something like fight scenes.. Kinda looked like a black screen with a white slash mark on it, and then a close up of the character making some retarded pose to me".
So true, so true.
Oh btw, I watched 15 minutes of the first episode and then about 3 of the second. Maybe this series gets just AWESOME after the 8th episode? That would be fun.

| argh, this one is just bad all around. It's a complete rip off of Saiyuki and not even a half-way decent rip off. I could barely get through the first episode! All the characters are drawn(badly) straight from either Saiyuki or Weiss Kreuz, it's a boring story with questionable animation and bad cg. WONDERFARM is a relatively new company that has done mostly guy-targeted ecchi, and it really shows. Apparently they feel like they don't have to worry about other petty aspects of an anime such as plot as long as the characters are nice to look at -_-. I would like to see an anime that has attractive characters(male and female) WITH a decent plot and character development, it seems a rare thing these days. Don't bother with this one, even hard core bishounen lovers who have never seen saiyuki or weiss kreuz might find yourselves gagging or falling asleep half way through the episode

| Okay, I just finished watching all 6 episodes...did it get cancelled or something? It has no ending! I think there should be just one more episode, so they could defeat Yuda and Ruka or whatever...and those Guardian Angels are still in hell!! Nice way to end (sarcasm)!
Hmmm...well...the eps individually were pretty good...except episode one really stunk...the last ones really brought some story, cuz the first 4 were just like eye candy...this show is pretty well rouded I suppose...I mean for a spinoff of Tenshi no Shippo...I think maybe there is a drama CD that gives us the ending...? This is a good example of how a bishie show should be!

| Okay, first off I will admit I've only managed to watch the first episode of this series ... so do take what I say with a grain of salt, because the rest may be better and I just don't know it.
However, having said that ... this has GOT to be one of the slowest animes I've ever seen. Most shows that I watch I get to the end and think "Hmmm, that's all? That seemed short". This one, though ... I was checking my watch at the half way point. I thought it would never end!
The animation is okay (alright, I admit it ... the only reason I downloaded it was because I'm female, I saw the picture here, and thought "Ooo ... hot guys ... must see") ... but that's about all it's got going for it. The sound is blah. The story line has been done to death (after being imprisoned for X amount of time, Y evil villians escape to wreck havoc on the populice, and only Z heroes can stop them) ... only all the other shows told it much better. There doesn't seem to be anything exceptional to any of the characters ... and the whole scene where they get their weapons is above and beyond cheesey. The first episode drags on like a lecture from your science teacher. Even the fight scene is slow!
So no, despite the hot guys (who hold your interest for all of 2 minutes ... even eye candy has to have some flavor behind it to be any good), I did not enjoy this anime at all ... and do not intend to watch anymore of it.

| maybe early to give my opinion, but i dislike what i saw... i saw an image somewhere and decided to dl this. as it seems, it's the sort of "sailor moon" type of anime, with a team of heroes eacht with a different ability, different weapon, though all connected for the good of the world! there are decent anime's in this category, such as saint seiya, but this is just a power rangers anime... the art is good, but the animation is very weak... the fights are only implied, you don't see any fancy moves, you just see the heroes chop at the green blubs attacking them and then they vanish... defenatly aimed at a younger audiance, who might enjoy this, but i myself cannot convince myself to continue to watch this when my precious download limit demands to see other decent anime's :)

| Although I really liked the anime from the very beginning (though the first episode was a graave tragedy [I barely convinced myself to watch another], the following one's were great [I'm lucky I did convince myself]) and I'm still very fond of it, I must say it's nothing extraordinary. It's the kind of anime you can watch with pleasure, but not expect anything special from it. Or maybe I am mistaken, although throught the 6 episodes I've seen I cannot state a diffrent opinion.

| I watched 4 episodes of Saint Beast, and I can safely say I'll never watch another.
The characters and setting seem completely underdeveloped, and there's no hint that they plan to furthar develope either.
I guess my main gripe with the entire thing would be the character's themselves though. NONE of them are cool. They are all fairly feminine, and for a guy, regardless of whether you're a homophobe or not, its a turn off.
This almost seems like an action anime directed at women. Someone should let the producers know that the concept could have been pulled off by replacing these guys with females possesing stronge demeanors, and non-skimpy outfits.
