| Mouse concerns the adventures of a school teacher by day, and thief at night. He has inherited the legacy of a long line of legendary thieves in Japan, the name Mouse. Helping him out are three assistants. Two of them have near-impossibly large breasts, while the other is more realistically proportioned. All three of them, however, are nymphos and are constantly demanding sex from Mouse. They have a series of adventures of stealing things while being at home together.

| I've read many reviews about Mouse and since my friend had downloaded it, I wanted to see for myself, to see if the bad critics were right. Poor me, they were.
Mouse is your typical huge boobed ecchi with *nothing* else in it. The story is basically about a guy, 'prof in day, thief in night' kind of occupation. That's all. The thefts are not original at all, the anime is no fun at all, it's very unrealistic.
If you like watching huge boobs without pretty much anything else, including character development, story, humor most of all since it's an ecchi which includes heavy comedy... you may like it. But since most people care, or *should* care about those things, I wouldn't recommend Mouse at all.
Now you'll tell me "what more do you want? It's an ecchi!". I can answer easily, since I've watched many ecchi that are miles ahead of Mouse and are actually pretty good anime, no matter if they're a bit "perverted". One example is Green Green, which I found very fun myself, and was even a bit touching.
Mouse on the other hand has nothing. It's easily the worst anime I've ever watched and if you haven't watched many bad anime, it will be your worst as well.
That's all I guess.

| I didn’t like this anime, but I didn’t hate it either. It was worse than simple liking or hating; I felt nothing except for a sense of detachment and a vague embarrassment at watching busty women beg for attention episode after episode. I simply could not bring myself to take an interest in either the characters or the story. If the main purpose of this show was to lay on the ecchi then it succeeded. There were ample chest shots, crotch shots, skimpy uniforms and simpering voices. If it was aiming for anything else then it failed miserably. There’s a bit comedy, drama, science fiction, fantasy and romance but none of them are explored very thoroughly. The show seems to unsuccessfully switch from one to the other.

| I actually rather enjoyed Mouse. It was very silly, overly ecchi (bordering on hentai at times), the basic storyline itself was quite good and reminded me a little of D.N.Angel but without any angels *lol* and Mouse himself was actually really cute.
You can't take this anime seriously, it's just a bit of fun and watched when you're in the right frame of mind, it's an entertaining interlude between series ^_^

| Mouse is a show that mostly focuses on the bouncy "assistants" of the main character Sorata, or Mouse. As this is the main focus, the story is lacking. The story is essentially you're basic great thief who steal's with good intentions bit. The action is kind of lame as their are only a few good fight scenes. Mediocre-to-bad animation.
Grotesque character designs. OK, if you like your female characters gargantuan, you might like these pneumatic ladies. But they're clearly shooting for a fetishist market.
Embarrassing, pointless, smutty story that seems to have been hashed together from half a dozen better programs.
On top of all that, the mini-episodes (less than 15 min. each) don't allow for any character development, plot, or nuance. This is not always the case with super-short episodes, but Mouse wasn't even trying.
Only good thing about this show, in my opinion, was the music by Haruko Momoi as UndaSebu. Her cameo in the last episode was also slightly amusing.

I admit, the animation was pretty gratuitous. Some of the females breasts sizes were exaggerated and at some point obscene. And even I enjoy some ecchi, but...damn.
I actually thought the music was pretty catchy. Don't know why.
Characterization and plot...don't hold your breath.
I'm not really sure what to think about an anime centering mostly around a guy and a bunch of horny women. In reality it'd be tight as hell but for tv entertainment it kinda sucks.
Overall though, I really didn't care for the whole series. Not the absolute worst. Some parts were actually humorous. I think the pure ridiculousness of the whole show added to the sick comic value. But then again, I would rather be stuck outside buck naked in zero degree weather than have to watch this again.
Here are a few tips if you decide to watch this:
1) Do not watch directly after (insert really good anime here).
2) Do not watch if you even remotely hated DN Angel (not that the two are compareable).
3) Do not take too seriously (meaning that if preversion offends you, stay away from viewing).

| This has got to be one of the most retarded pieces of crap I have ever laid my eyes on. It's a direct rip of Lupin the 3rd with infinitely more fan service.
At first I thought it was funny, but I eventually came to realize that it was horribly retarded.
Basically, what this anime consists of is a very Lupin storyline, sans real characters and an actual style, and more fan service than I have ever seen in my life. It's almost liek they knew the anime was going to suck, so they put in as much 'skanky harem girls getting naked and all molesterish' scenes as possible to make up for the shallowness.
Depending on how you feel about fan service this could easilly be one of the worst animes in existence. I seriously would not reccomend it.

| even though this show is one of the lowest grades I gave I don't hate it (unlike the rest of the shows with low grade in my reviews). it's simpley not serious enough to waste feelings on,
also please never forget this show IS ecchi and so.. it delivers what it promises. ^_^

in short: this series is freaky, stupid and pointless just as hentai only without the sex scenes which makes it even more pointless, stupid and freaky.
Someone said that without the ecchi stuff the raiting would've been higher so I took a sec to think what else was there... Just a bunch of really not original ideas which mostly have been done already and really not original characters who doesn't even have personalyties.
I didn't like any of the characters. The art was neat but most of the babes disgusted me for some reasone, I liked Mei the most, too bad she also was a flat character.

| This wasn’t as bad as I was lead to believe. I was expecting complete and utter crap from the reviews and from word of mouth. I mean, this series is junk but it really isn’t quite as bad as it looks from the reviews. Actually I expected more 10’s to show up after watching this since I’m sure there are many people who would enjoy ecchi trying to be hentai series. The story was actually much better than I expected so I gave it a higher score than I would normally. Sound was okay, the voices fit but those kinds of voices bug me to begin with. The characters are shallow but extremely well developed considering the normal character depth in these extreme ecchi series. Overall, this is something you might want to check into if you’re into ecchi. This was an okay series and I did manage to sit through the whole thing even though I much prefer deeper stories and do not much care for ecchi so something about this series is good enough to keep me sitting through the whole thing.

| I watched this anime precisely because of it's early low ratings. Make no mistake, this anime gets low ratings not on its own merits or lack thereof, but more because it's exceedingly embarrassing to watch. Overall, it reminded me nothing so much as Shadow Lady.
Yea, it's got the huge breasts and the women who seemingly are ready to have sex at anytime with their Master, but really, it's not that bad. There are stories here, and there's humour and some emotional content and significant character depth as well, for the genre anyway.
Were you to take all the echii parts out, there is little doubt in my mind that the average score with increase a minimum of 3 points.
That being said, I found I enjoyed Mouse enough to keep watching it's short episodes. The pacing is excellent and the music is really catchy if you let it, or annoying if you don't(kinda like the Spice Girls). And who doesn't like the art of theft?
So, in all, no work of art, and I can't imagine recommending it to anyone, but Mouse certainly is not as bad as people make it out to be. You've gotta keep in mind that it's a spoof of the ecchi and thief genres, so maybe you'll like it a bit more if you've seen significant amounts of either? It certainly beats out Iketeru Futari for short ecchi animes...

| It's light-hearted! It's not meant to be serious! Yes, its got fan service and can be erotic at times, but does that mean it's a bad anime? It's fun and silly! And I'm a girl! Great opening and ending songs.
I am a true believer of the "WATCH 3 EPISODES BEFORE DISMISSING AN ANIME" rule. This one does get more story and character development as it continues.

| Don't take this anime seriously. Because there's nothing serious about it. After the first episode, I just couldn't believe my eyes. After five episodes I was sure that this was the most stupid anime ever. After 12 episodes I was amazed I had watched all of them.
The plot doesn't make any sense, and that is probably good because it would take time from the female sidekicks. Who don't wear too much clothing. Who want to make love constantly. That's about everything I can remember.

| The animation is it's only saving grace, as every other single aspect of this anime leaves a lot to be desired. The characters get little to no development. The plot doesn't exist. I somehow did develop a remote liking for the OP and ED strangely enough...
This is definately the worst anime that 2003 has brought us.

| I won't pretend that this doesn't overdo the fanservice. It does. I won't pretend that it has a great plot. It doesn't.
But what it does have is some laughs, some good music (though in some cases, recycled over and over again) and SOME (certainly not all) interesting characters.
I'm not a fan of the story; the actual plot is only the last 3 episodes, before that it was just setting up the characters. That hurts the series. Most of the characters aren't worth it. And the one that might have been (the little chick), didn't get a background ep.
Also, the opening song is damn cool.
So, other than excessive fanservice and poor, poor story, occasionally bad art and stupid inane characters, there's nothing really wrong with it.
The general sentiment towards this show is fairly obvious, so unless you enjoy softcore hentai, you should probably pass on Mouse.

| Oh man, this is a real fantastic Anime ^^, ok the Plot is not very intelligent.. but the musik is the best I ever heard ;-)
The characters are really good, the story is always based on one character and how this character is interacting with our hero ^^... it's not a bad Idee.
I wont deny thats also the ecchi part who turns me on, but its also everything around...
But you have to watch it yourself to decide if its worth or not... you gonna love it or you gonna hate it

| Um basically only about 2/3 of the 12 minutes or so is relevant to the story. The rest is a subpar opening [with much ecchi indeed], a pointless recap of a previous episode [OMG, its 13 minutes for heaven's sake...a recap is PURELY UNECESSARY...indicates that they're trying to waste/take up some air time, perhaps?]
The basic storyline is so mindless it seems as if it took a 3 yr old to think up...
This series would be much much better had they not tried to kill time with the opening/ending and the nonsensical "previous episode" recaps. Overall plot is illogical in that the women OPENLY subject themselves to objectification and womanization--they're merely sex subjects constantly looking for "rewards" from the protagonist.
Overall a waste of time. If you really have nothing else to watch I guess this would do...
Again as a previous user said...this series clearly demonstrates the blurring of the line that separates hentai and mainstream anime...

| This show is hilarious!! Sure, it's nothing but fanservice, but it's still great! If it wasn't for all the fanservice, it wouldn't be nearly as great. There are so many classic hentai plot devices used, you can't help but sit in front of the screen and gawk! I'm not just some sex deprived fanboy, I'm a standard bishonen chasing, female otaku, but I can still appreciate the other side of the spectrum.
