| Clamp Campus detectives, an anime in which everything is exaggerated, from elementary school students having puppy relationships with kindergartens to genius detective kids solving any kind of mystery and from campuses as big as a city to palace like classrooms, and also add the mountain of paperworks that the "lead detective" signs eveyday.

| Fairly between average and not so good. It was fine at its time, but it hasn't been part of my good titles up until now. The story was a little clever and yet found it almost hard to believe with their mysteries. The title song was just too bland and cutesy, but the voices seemed fine. The characters weren't really interesting or memorable, but I can remember that blond kid keeps bragging in almost each episode, which was kind of pointless and annoying. I think the only strong point was the animation.

| It's not very outstanding but I still enjoyed quite a bit of it. The music is really nice, best of all. Story gets in a bit late, a lot of episodes wasted on introducing the characters and showing how perfect they are. Artwork is ok and quite vibrant...I think this anime is not very bad and I'd recommend it to the younger viewers coz I dun think those who pursue serious and deep themed anime will like it.
Anime gets better towards the end so those who stop after watching a bad 1st ep, I dun really recommend this to you as well.

| The first few episodes were downright boring. Like in the first one, what's the deal with the line "We're wizards" being mentioned every two minutes? And I figured if they were going to save damsels in distress every episode then the series just might be enough to put me to sleep -.-
But maybe that was being too harsh. =/ The series has its good points. For one, the artwork is pretty well done. They still haven't lost the sharp eyelash thingie which came way back from RG Veda to MKR, etc. but the drawings are fine :)
About the characters...well they were okay, all three of them. None was too annoying or anything. But here's the part that really bugged me. Two of them (Akira and Suoh) actually liked kindergarten KIDS. And the worst part? The kindergarten KIDS liked them back. Prepare for some serious blush scenes even when they're merely looking at each other >.>
And oh yeah, I didn't get the part why they needed to form the CLAMP School Detectives group when the members are the same from the student council. And it's not like they were actually solving any cases. Or maybe I just wasn't able to tell o-o
I've only been halfway through the series and am still going through with it...i would recommend it maybe, but not without any warning about the stuff that people need to be warned about ^^
It's a show for young people...at least I think they would enjoy it better than older people would.
And it's lighthearted. If you're feeling depressed then this show's just for you! :)

| I know a good anime when I see one, and this is certainly not one of them. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed watching the series, but this is not what I would label as "good" anime.
First of all the title of the show is very misleading. The three main characters, Nokoru, Suoh, and Akira, don’t solve mysteries. A mystery to them is when they can’t understand a situation. For example, in one of the episodes Akira doesn’t understand why one of the female students in the college baking class steers clear of the instructor so therefore he thinks it’s a mystery he must solve. Yep, that’s some great mystery solving for you.
What about plot development? Character Development? Sadly to say, there’s none to be found here. All you’ll find are a bunch of ignorant girls who constantly need the three child heart throbs to come to their rescue again, and again, and again, and again. Because, after all, that’s all any girl wants out of life, is to have three young boys come to their rescue.
Clamp School wasn’t all that bad, I was able to sit through all 26 episodes after all. But, if you’re looking for that “good anime, look elsewhere. But if you feel like watching three boys run around in shorts and meddle in other peoples business (and yes, solve one or two mysteries here and there), then this is the anime for you.

| I was not thrilled with this anime. At most it was 'okay'. This was compared to Scooby Doo in an anime magazine, but trust me, Scooby Doo is better. Much better. Besides, Scooby Doo is about a group of people solving mysteries. Clamp School Detectives--don't let the name fool you--is about a group of boys who help females.
The main characters are three boys. One boy has this infatuation with women. The other two, Suoh and Akira, date kindergartners--that's just sick. Nokoru, the one who has the infatuation with women, starts up a small organization in the first episode to help women. This organization consists of himself, Suoh and Akira, who are his two best and (as far as I'm concerned) only friends.
I failed to see the point of this anime. Throughout most of it, the 'detectives' go around helping out girls while accomplishing unrealistic feats. Then near the last few episodes the creators toss in this boy who wants to destroy the school to get back at Nokoru because the boy believes that Nokoru stole his mother's smile. What the heck is that? And do Nokoru, Suoh, and Akira even go to school? You always see them in the student council room, but when do they ever do any student council work? And what is so darn cute about Nokoru and Akira?
Overall, this anime was stupid. Watch if you're bored. I was.

| Ah, CLMAP. What else do you need to know? Maybe to some, CCD isn't their favorite cup of tea, but surely enough, there are people like me who's just smitten over CCD's utter kawaiiness.
The animation isn't the best, but it isn't the worst, either. What really drawed me to this anime is the plot line. It's heart-warming, while at the same time no too mushy.
Definitely a feel-good anime.
The music is very well done, with a second ending sung by the same woman who sang the op of Escaflowne, ____ Maya. The opening, Pink Peonies, is one of the catchiest song I've ever heard.
The main characters are kids no older than 12, but don't let that bog you down. Some have commented on the lack of character develpment, but I think if you look deeper, you can still find the usual messages CLAMP always enbeds in their works.
Oh, did I mention Nokoru's fan? You'll just have to watch CCD to find out ^_^
Overall, I enjoyed this anime a lot, the anime even had an extra arc ---- IDOMU--- which the manga didn't have.
So if you have the time and an open mind, be sure to check this anime out!
