| I find that I usually do not like this kind of childish-looking anime, especially because there is nothing emotional or any underlying meaning to anything that happens. To me, it is very similar to another anime called Crayon Shin-chan or something.
Chibi Maruko Chan was average most aspects. The character design was not meant to be alluring or beautiful, only humorous and laughable. They crack some pretty funny jokes and some lame things happen throughout the series that contribute to this anime's so-called "worth" because you will find little more.
The music was quite hilarious, and the opening theme was so ridiculously stupid-sounding: "bee-lee-ba-la-bee-lee-ba-la" that it gets stuck in your head. In short, the music is memorable and funny.
There are many characters, and they are all unique in weird ways because most of them look demented on purpose, i.e. the kid with the head that strongly resembles an onion. Character development is neglected in this anime, but that is fine because this is not a deeply psychological series, only a little humor and stupidity here and there.
Value is next to none, because watching this anime once in a while is fine but to survive through all the episodes was impossible for me. I got quite sick of its silliness.

| I love chibi maruko chan. even collect the manga. Nice to watch one episode per day, (but not all at once, because it's quite repetitious). It gives a view of japanese life in the 70s. Even so some episodes touches me (like the one about mother's day, it made me cried :P)

| a anime just about everyday life, i played the game and like the anime, overall you could say it was pretty lame, but there's just something about it that make you feel good and liking towards the anime, i s'pose its the reminiscing about childhood, and if you've watched the complete series, you'll undoubtably have found at least a dozen of situations which you have been in too. a little like doraemon.

| A very cute relaxing story. There is no plot so it doesn't matter if you miss any episodes. Overall it is very hilarious.
It would sure give you a good laugh.

| Funny!!!! Funny!!!! Funny!!!! That is what this anime is all about! I have only seen about 20 something episdoes but it had me hooked. At first you look at the animation and you are like what in the world is this... but it grows on you! In fact just about everything related to this anime grows on you, the characters, the catchy songs, the stories... makes me want to relive my childhood... damn it :P

| Ein Anime mit dem man sich gut die Zeit vertreiben kann, sehr witzig, trotz der äußerst veralterten Animationen und IMO schrecklichen BGM. Ich habs zwar schon lan gnicht mehr gesehen aber was ich in Erinnerung habe ist ganz positiv.

| Funny anime... The animation and characters are just average or close to average, but the story itself sometime is really nice and enjoyable.

| Maroco is a little girl who lives with her parents, sister, and her grand father and grand mother. Everyday she have interesting adventures at home and school with her friends.

| I love one of the opening song in the earlier season but that is about it (Look for the song in Dance Dance Revolution - Dancing Pompokolin but it has different lyric). Since the show is air on a Japanese channel in Japanese, so I don't understand much of the story. I have been watching it for few years now, and many episodes tell simple and sometime funny story.

| This anime is may not be a looker but it is hilarious. It brings back memories when you were in elementary-sort of reminiscence of the forgotten childhood.
