| In terms of plot this series is pretty good because the author comes up with some ingenious crimes and solutions for the main character to play with. =) Kindaichi is also quite a likeable young detective, and this series has more actual detective-style mystery to it than other pseudo-detective series like Mythical Detective Loki. Can get a bit gory for the fainthearted. =) A great read for rainy days alone at home!

| This is the manga of the files of kindaichi. The story are awlays the same-solving problem like sherlock holmes. But the cases are new all the time, and sometimes you need to read it twice to pin point who is the culprit. This is a very long manga. The books total more than Kenshin, and keep growing. If you have read the Q school-its the same- almost anyway. Around book 35 above there are some short novels with the manga. This manga is rare cause you need to think about the plot. And sometimes the writer knows loop holes to get out.
Main characters: kindaichi, akechi, megumi, sano/sato, and others.
