Description

"Miss China" is what they call the beautiful young Chinese woman who runs the Ten-Kai Restaurant in a small harbor town in Victorian England. "Deadbeats" is what Miss China calls her two crazy tenants: an inventor named Professor Breckenridge and his young assistant Jim. Professor Breckenridge wants to change the world with his inventions. Jim wants to find just the right way to let Miss China know how he feels about her. Miss China just wants them to pay their rent!
