Description

Underneath the fabulous floating city of Tiphares lies the Scrapyard, where the refuse and detritus (human and otherwise) of Tiphares accumulates. One day a physician named Daisuke Ito finds the still-functional head of a cyborg. He names her Alita, gives her a beautiful cyborg body, and treats her as a daughter. But the Scrapyard is not a nice place, and soon they discover that although she has no memory of her past, she does remember a deadly cyborg fighting technique called the "Panzer Kunst." Thus begins Alita's painful quest to find answers about herself and her past, as she roams the violent and merciless world of the Scrapyard in search of a life she can call her own.
