| Naoka has failed the highly competitive entrance exams for her first-choice high school, and now goes to a high school she doesn't want to be in. Depressed, she spends more and more time at the local aquarium, trying to distract herself from her situation. There, she meets a very friendly boy named Haruki, but Naoka isn't much in the mood for friends these days. This series also contains two shorter stories. "The Flying Stewardess" is about Shoko, a high-spirited young stewardess new to the job. Her job is stressful enough, but when she meets an old high school classmate on one of her flights, will her life become too much to handle? "The Heart Is Your Kingdom" tells the story of Koko and Suzuki, two high school students who find one winter that they may be more than just friends.
