| | Penguin Brothers is a nice shoujo manga about school life. However it's not an ordinary school life at all. The main character, a girl named Hina lives with her uncle and is transferred to a new school. That school is supposed to be a uniform-free one, but when she arrives there she sees that almost everyone is wearing black or white uniforms and that these two opposite sites hate each other. She's told that she has to choose between the two and after that she always has to listen to the leader of that group. She doesn't like the idea at all. Then she notices somebody in ordinary clothes and she finds out that person doesn't belong either to black nor white group - he's a gray. She decides immediately she'll also become a gray. But she doesn't know that the life of a gray person is not easy at that school, now she'll have to fight against black and white, and stand all the discrimination. She doesn't like that situation so she decides to change it- she wants everyone to become gray, so everyone can be free and doesn't have to listen to anyone - and that's when the story begins...
