FINALE EPISODE ******SPOILERS****** It was amazing when the Tachikoma sang while they sacrificed themselves to stop the nuclear warhead. I couldn't help crying. It was one of the most touching moments I've ever seen in an anime.

I just watched it, it was amazing. I loved the endings for both! It almost brought me to tears. Where did Batou recognize those Americans from though? The first gig when they were after the guy who took peoples faces? These series left me with so many questions, probably requires a second watch.

Ok some questions... Only read if you have seen 2nd gig.
1.) What was the thing with the Americans and Gouda in the last episode? How did they come together? How was all of this related to Kuze?
2.) In the last episode, when Major is flying with Kuze and Batou in the helicopter - she looks at Kozue and says - "You!" (or oamye in jap). What was this? Was it at this moment that she realised that this was the boy she met in the hospital when she was just made into a cyborg?
3.) During episode 24, Batou and Gouda have a long talk. At the end, Batou asks Gouda about the x-factor for the virus responsible for Individualist 11. He says that it is a host of a cyborg which was a virgin before becoming a cyborg? *DUH?* Whats this supposed to mean?

I'll try to answer question 2. I think Motoko realized Kuze was the boy from quite a while ago already. She'd already "almost" encountered him or rather, the paper cranes he left behind. There was also that incident when her cyberbrain was hacked into (at the old shop storing people's memories).

It looks like the picture I put in the first post was removed, I assume because of forum software changes, so here it is again (click for full size):

avalnanche (#92065) im gonna try and answer question 3, but im not 100% about the answer. the virus is set for a group of people or persons that have had certain experiences. knowing that the information in there brain, brain case or ghost line is binary code, 0's and 1's. so never experiencing sex leaves a certain code in their brains, brain case / ghost line. this code triggers the virus. also notice everyone of the people that had the virus was cyborg which probaby meant the loss of the hormones produced by the body which meant loss of sexual appetite. also notice when the major helps the boy with the drug dealers and brings him to her hotel he askes her can cyborgs have sex.
