Haha, good ones (yet again stereotypical, but as Ken said, they're funny) Smile.

TBH, I'd prefer to be a girl/woman over being a man; one can find quite many reasons in this thread Razz

My favorite is this one...
34. You have an excuse to be a total bitch at least once a month.

Especially when you can milk that cow so many times that the guy never really knows, is she in PMS mode or just in bad mood? Twisted Evil

Ha ha....funny.
But what's wrong with :
"35. You can talk to people of the opposite sex without having to picture the naked."

No, there's nothing wrong with that at all. It just means that we guys are so sexed up and so obsessed with imagining the girl we're talking to being naked. Now, there's nothing wrong with that too, not unless the girl in question is NOT physically attractive. Laughing

BTW, good come back Sumomo. I was really waiting for this thread to come along. Very Happy There, now I've said it.

BTW, I accidentally mangled Hex(f)'s post before this one. Hit the edit button instead of the quote button. Anyways, no harm done, everything's been restored.

SOME of them was pretty "lame" Razz while some are great and true ^^

imagine girls naked is a positive thing imo

and almost all of the points involves using girly sex appeal. which is a little far stretched ^^

and i wouldn't count the period for being a positive thing Razz

Am I odd?
I never picture girls naked when I'm talking to them.

Then again I wouldn't want to have *** with them either. So ugly :X

I like that one, Sumomo... stereotypes...though people wonder about stereotypes... it's still fun to read these things. Very Happy

The only reason why I don't like being a girl... is delivering a child. I'm not really scared of pregnancy... it's the delivery that scares me. But.. overall.. I like being a girl. Very Happy

Having a period once a month is not hard... you get used to it after 3 times you've had it.. so it's not really a big deal. You can still do what you do when you don't have a period Very Happy ....though not all. Confused

LOL! The list was great, but I can't quite see myself going along with #40. ^_^ Then again, I don't worry about getting into too many fights. ^_~

Lol, I'm not going to do any thing crazy like having a kid for at least eight or nine years. I've seen too many people have problems because they've had children too early.
I got to thinking about this line, though:
Quote:
25. If you think the person you're dating really likes you, you don't have to break up with them.

Maybe that's the problems I've been having in the past...
*Note to self, don't let future boyfriends know that you actually care for them...*

Everyone always tells me I'll want to have a kid too, but I DON'T. I think people put too much into the whole "biological clock" thing.

I never want to be pregnant. I'd even call it a phobia. I've seriously thought about adopting though.

Yeah I've never cared much about having a baby of MY genes and so on.
I'm a 100% sure that I will adopt and not give birth.
Just as you, Neko_Vamp, its almost like a phobia.
And all that 9 months stuff - NO THANK YOU!

A baby delivered on the doorstep so to say - YES PLEASE Laughing

But seriously, I just dont see the point in having a baby when there are SO many children in the world in desperate need of parents...

Age/maturity has nothing to do with it. I'm just not interested in birthing.
Love children, but I've always wanted to adopt.
No woman WANTS to give birth, its a process they HAVE to go through.
But like I said, I'm not interested.
And belive me, I know tons of people my age and older, feeling the same way Wink

They find out its not so bad after all? Lol - you know many women who have given birth? I do, and not one has said that...it was not that bad after all..in fact, every single one of them has said the opposite... Laughing
One of my friends just gave birth, she ripped from a to b, had to undergo sergury, could not move for a month...no its not so bad.... not at all Laughing

HA HA HA! ^^

dont say never Sumomo ^^ i'm pretty sure u'll change ur mind later on Very Happy everyone does Surprised

But seriously, I just dont see the point in making a baby when there are SO many children in the world in desperate need of parents...

I've only heard like 10 year olds say it like that ^^ : Razz ^^

LoL, lots of nice stuff on the 50" list.. ^^

??? say what? Laughing

lol.. ^^ you know.. like a 10 year old girl may say "im never gonna give birth, never, never, never." but when they grow up they find out that it isn't that bad after all..
I'd never tought a mature woman like you would say something like that.. ^^
just my side of the story tough but^^

Age/maturity has nothing to do with it. I'm just not interested in birthing.
Love children, but I've always wanted to adopt.
No woman WANTS to give birth, its a process they HAVE to go through.
But like I said, I'm not interested.
And belive me, I know tons of people my age and older, feeling the same way Wink

They find out its not so bad after all? Lol - you know many women who have given birth? I do, and not one has said that...it was not that bad after all..in fact, every single one of them has said the opposite... Laughing
One of my friends just gave birth, she ripped from a to b, had to undergo sergury, could not move for a month...no its not so bad.... not at all Laughing

yeah, i know lots of women that's given birth.. (family members)
But that doesn't really have anything to do with this..

Of course, no one wants go give bith.. of course not, it has to PAIN...
My cousin gave birth 2 months ago, she is kind of small and they had to use (i dont know the english words) first "suge propp" then "krok" she said it was HELL, but when everything was over and she had the baby lying in her arms "evrything was worth it" her words...

Of course if you dont want to then it's your choice.. im not gonna stop you ^^
But this is not exactly "ontopic"

It's really funny reading about you ladies fearing child birth so much.

My wife had no problems with it. Never even suffered from morning sickness. Yeah, she was very well taken care of (courtesy of me).

It was really fun, a joy, watching your wife give birth to your child. I was there in the delivery room. And to prevent ripping her "there", the doctor gave her a snip under local aneastesia (sp) and sewed her up afterwards.

No problems.

Periods? She gets grumpy and has cramps. I just leave her alone to get over it.

LoL

It's kinda obvious what that thread would fall into, but i didn't expect it to be THAT quick...

So a propos de discussion about giving birth.
Actually, a lot of women knowing that it is inevitable to give birth and actually DESIRING a baby (their own, not just any baby) wants the whole thing. Nine months, giving birth, included. Because, my dear Sumomo, it's part of it. Yeah, there ARE other ways. You can even have it made outside. Take Your genes, take father's as well etc. Mostly - it COSTS. Adoption? Nice of You and ... I wonder what Your bf would tell... Because if You are in a relation than it's not only Your decision, unless he's a chickenwuss and You may force that kind of decision on him.

And Doff - I second ou. I never thought that Sumomo would sound so 10-year'ish.... Wink Laughing

Do You also feel cheated on this Sumomo? Very Happy That poor women are giving birth while men are not? Wink Very Happy
Teasing....

Ahp: LOL
Might one know why?

O!! I got it.... You reminded me of a movie where a guy was embodying a woman once. (man's spirit in woman's body - sort of occult comedy it was). First thing he did was standing before the mirror, stripping top-less, putting his hands to breasts and gently caress them, a bit while having pure bliss on his face and saying "They're here!! THEY'RE HERE!!!" I laughed like hell seeing that!! Very HappyVery Happy

Of course that may NOT be a reason in Your case.... Wink

And back on topic - just a few remarks I couldn't hold off...

50. You get to have sexy curves and be lusted after by every idiot out there.

THAT is a good thing??!! Laughing Out Loud!!

44. Gay waiters don't make you uncomfortable.
How about lesbian ones? Wink

31. If you're dumb, some people will find it cute.
That's so true... Smile LoL

28. You can congratulate your teammate without ever touching her ass.
I can do it! I can do it as well! oh wait... it's not 'his ass'... Wink

19. Brad Pitt.
LoL.... that one is almost always on those lists made by women... I wonder if it ain't the TRUTH rather than just stereotype.... Wink

18. No fashion faux pas you make could rival The Speedo.
The Speedo... ?

15. You can sue the President for sexual harassment.
I can do it as well... OK. I know I won't but I still can! Wink

14. You can sleep your way to the top.
All the bosses on the way are man? Smile
Hmmm... Smile
I like that assumption - all the bosses are man Wink

Just a remark = that post is full of teasing.... so don't You go after me with an .... suddenly ducks to evade some flying object, looks at it ... AXE?!! Wink

You can start a new thread for that one and we'll leave this thread to discuss about the funny stereotypes.

I'm not sure if a thread already exists for duscussing about pregnancy. Probably not. Anyway, you may start a new one in badlands. I'm quite sure I'll be posting there with some of my experiences (my wife's actually).

@Tammo/Doff - thanks a lot guys...for making my opinion of that of a 10 year old Confused Wink

hehe (Yey, I'm 10 years old - I HAVE THE ABILITY TO BE A CHILD STILL) Wink

But ok, point is, its not that I dont want children - because that I want. No question about that.
And yes, every woman out there thinks its WORTH it, after getting the baby in their hands. Then 9 months and pain/agony during childbirth is "forgotten".
I'm well aware of that fact.

But it does not change the fact that I'm not interested in going through it just to experience "holding the baby in my arms and forgetting it all".
I see that experience just as good as in adopting one. But thats MY opinion and thats probably why I dont feel its a loss not being pregnant and giving birth to your own genes.

Some people just are that way.

And yes, my bf dont mind it. Like me, its not important for him to have a baby of his own genes. He agrees on the adoption thing.

Its just not important.

And no, I dont feel cheated on it - I have no problem with it being a woman giving birth instead of a man - cause after all, I'm well aware of that special bond and what a special feeling it must be to connect with having a baby in your tummy.
Something men will never be able to experience.

All this I know - but still, at this point in my life, I'm 100% sure that adoption is for me.
That being said, things COULD change in the future... Wink

And this was really
So back to ON - topic Wink

OK, these things and the ones about men are funny but let me say this straight Wink :

1) Most men are fundamentally happy if they get the “thing” that only women have, so if a woman wants to make a man happy she knows what to “offer”;
2) Most women need more than one reason to be fundamentally happy. That’s why we men, who care about our women, are constantly trying to improve our skills in order to be both strong and sweet, both cool and nice, good hydraulics, electricians, psychologists …

Loved your come back - just wish I could have thought of some of those - very good Very Happy One of my ideas was having babies, as that is ONE thing a man can never do, that 99% of the female population can revel over Mr. Green

You're just not maternal and there's nothing wrong in that! I have had 3 children, the first was hard and painful, the second was so easy it was unreal and the third was so horrifically painful, I thought I would die more than once before she was finally born! I hate (and I mean HATE) being pregnant but I loved having the babies and believe it or not, you forget about everything, but it does take some time (I nearly died two weeks after having my third baby - blood poisoning, fault of the hospital Crying or Very sad ), so I don't blame you one bit for saying you'd rather adpot. Myself personally, I'm glad I had babies, but I've wanted kids since I was 15 (I had my first at 25, second at 27 and third at 36  ).

That's true.. I also thought that but I'm still scared of having babies.

But the delivery... *ugh* ...is there any way I can transfer the baby to my husband the day before the delivery??? Sad

So basically...

1. Abuse double standard

2. Abuse double standard in 2nd way

...

50. Abuse double standard in 50th way

(I fully realize this is in jest, but that doesn't make me any less bitter as a person)

All valid points, but being a woman, you would have to go through the difficult path of giving birth, which I think is one of the hardest things in life and also one of the most amazing experiences in life. And that is something no man would argue about. So all in all, I'm sure it's great.
