 I'm translating the manga! :D

I'm doing a translation of the manga. I heard of it over the net, and it seems very promising!
I've just translated a few pages, and it's heard, since I'm not fluent in the language...
Oh well, I won't give up that easily! Wink

Well I really like that anime alot, of course it's one of the classic animes but really a popular anime in Japan!! I really liked both series the first one and the second one, I don't know if you guys like Boxing or not but you should see this anime, it's not Boxing and Boxing, it has alot of Drama, and pretty a sad anime about the lonely wolf Joe Yabuki!! One of my favorite anime of all time^^

Stick:
YOU ARE REALLY FUNNY Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

AnimeNfo.com :
Joe, a teenage orphan in the slums of the Doya streets, meets Danpei, a homeless, alcoholic ex-boxing coach. Danpei, seeing Joe's boxing talent, decides to train him. When Joe is sent to a terrible juvenile home for petty crimes, he meets Rikiishi who becomes his boxing rival. Danpei arrives at the home to help Joe to train in order to defeat Rikiishi. When Joe decides to seriously pursue boxing, Danpei cannot get a coaching license because of his reputation as a drunk.

This is hardly Rocky... Joe isn't that WINNER guy who always get what he wants in the end... in fact, the ending is very special... I won't spoil it, because I felt very bad when I heard about it. Oh well... I've gotten over it.

If there is a person who is interested in helping me to tackle all this grammar and slang in the manga, I would be very grateful for help!
Contact me by MSN messenger or ICQ if so. Smile

Well it's far better than Rocky Wink As for the ending, yeah as Elwin said, the ending is very special, even though most of the people didn't like the ending but I really think it's one of the greatest anime endings I've ever seen in my life... It's not like any other animes which always have a similiar ending, it's totally different... Anyway Animal if you can see old animes then you must this one Wink

Even though the coach Denbei is trying to act like a big asshole, he can show his true feelings in the most dramatic moments.
People who aren't open to difference are the ones who feel most disappointed with unoriginal endings.

Another interesting fact was that an actual funeral was held in real life when one of the main characters died. Exclamation
