  My negative review of Last Exile was removed by the webmastr
the webmaster is a (snip), and i wonder how many other people who posted negative reviews of this anime have been victimized by this blatant fraud, which serves no purpose other than to put this sub-par anime at the top of a meaningless list of "top anime".

It's hilarious how many people care so much about their favorite anime's rating that they've created multiple accounts so that they can essentially cast their vote more than once. It's so obvious when you look at a list of anime they've reviewed and the length of their reviews, generally, it goes something like this:

LAST EXILE: 10.0 Review: "Amazing"
Cowboy Bebop: 1.0 Review: "booooooooooooooring"
Rurouni Kenshin Reminiscence: 1.0 Review: "this is crap"
Naruto: 9.8 Review: "I love this anime it's really cool"

Stuff of this sort does nothing constructive to add value to the reviewing community. Look, i know the rating system is inherintly flawed, and 99% of the reviews here are meaningless, and the top #100 anime listing does nothing but give newbies a reason to well.... act like newbies -- but when the webmaster himself gets involved in this fraud that's just (snip)

 Ross. I'm going to tell you a couple of things.. i hope you can follow me around the circle here.


1.) You double-posted. It isn't enough that you decided to make a post insulting the webmaster, you decided to put it TWICE.

REMOVE YOUR POST IN THE ANIME DISCUSSION FORUM.



2.) You think that you would read the REASON your review WAS REMOVED IN THE FIRST PLACE. IN CASE YOU DIDN'T:

Sorry, this isn't better than Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, or Hikaru no Go. GONZO sucks, and so do ALL their anime, no exception for this one.

Last Exile's rating is the latest example of Groupthink on this site.

@kizuna and all the other 1 review wonders that probably are just the same person who created multiple accounts to give multiple 10s to an anime that will not withstand the test of time:

I agree with SuperS. You were just looking to start a flamewar with this "review". By the way, your review was negative, which is your opinion, fine. But you didn't even list what was wrong with the ANIME. You just attacked other reviewers and Gonzo.

Granted, the review system is flawed. But steps are being taken to make it BETTER. However, adding your own Bullshit review to it, contributing to the problem, was quite uncessary.


I locked it initially, but i would like to hear your response. And please.. do it in this thread. and DELETE THE OTHER ONE.

I wrote a really long and informative response
Really, i did

and then i click preview and it prompts me to log back in again, i do so, and it erases my post

my response woulda won a Pulitzer, and now you'll never see it

so what can be learned from this whole ordeal without me having to waste too much additional time writing another large post?

1. this website is poorly organized
2a this forum is poor
2b. yeah im a forum newbie for getting my post erased but that's fine, no reason for me to waste my life responding to "Poll: What's your favorite kind of Hat?" posts, because the dumb shit logs me out after 10 minutes of idle time.
3. It's silly to thikn anything can be done to fix the reviews, masses of 12 year olds will get their way one way or another.
4. Ban my ip from this site for all i give a shit, im not using it any longer for my anime needs.

 my cat fell asleep in my lap. It's probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen. Oh, and Ross, It would be too bad for you to go. Just don't cuss or at least edit your cussing and you won't get in so much trouble. Starting a review with the word "Buuulllsh*t" is just asking for moderator attention. If you so disagree with how f4t3 runs this site then you might just want to email him or perhaps offer a solution to the problem.

2a. "Whatchu talkin about Willis?" This is what, your 4th post? It's not fair of you to make an assumption of how the forum is, based on what little you've done here. How exactly is this forum "poor"?

2b.that happens, even to me. what i do in those cases it before clicking on submit, just copy it to notepad just to make sure you have a backup. if it messes up at least you have a second copy.

3. The reviews are being moderated now, but there's ALOT of reviews to go through, and Animenfo will be going through alot of changes to make it better. Alot of things will be added as well as removed. Hopefully, it'll make this place alot better.


4. Banning an IP is only a last resort method, taken only to those who constantly abuse the forum and make inappropriate comments. If you choose to not come here anymore, that i'm saddened to see, but then again, it is your right to do so.
