anyways what do you think about it?
here's a link i found with a pic:
http://www.cuhkacs.org/~alanlee/blog/archives/04/05/29346.php
does ANYONE think that the girl at the bottom looks like chise from saikano?

YES:. i think it will be very good..
Onegai twins and Onegai teacher where good, especially Onegai techer, i liked that the most...
Since both the onegai series are good why should't the 3 be?
That's like Lord of the rings 1 and 2 are good and nr. 3 are bad.....
But lord of the rings 3 rocks..

Are all of these series somehow related to one another or is it just the name?

I watched like the first five episodes of please teacher, and I thought it was okay, but I thought Me's-a-ho was kind of obnoxious. Especially the whole "this is a priority one" thing. Is that some kind of Japanese humor to repeat the same expression over and over? I've noticed them doing that in more than one anime.
Anyway, I've had mixed feelings about whether or not I really want to spend the money on seeing the rest of the series.
Does it really get that good? Do you guys really recommend it?

Well, Japanese humor is a bit... odd. In Excel Saga, I think it was the first episode they made a joke about Japanese humor. It's generally pretty dumb, but I've taken a liking to it. A good example, of bad humor would be Trigun. Who knows, maybe someone likes it? My friend and I joke saying, "I bet there's some little Japanese boy laughing his ass off right now..."

@rossoline: Teacher was good, one of my fav animes, but i guess i always finish an anime i have d/l'ed no matter how crap it is because i like to get more ideas form animes. (the only series i didn't finishe watching was ROD TV...sorry)
Twins isn't recommanded by me, Friends? i don't really know, if they didn't say "we might be related, but we might be strangers" or something along those lines ALL the time, then maybe this would be good.

Onegai Sensei(AKA Onegai Teacher) is very good, I like it a lot .. Onegai Twins is a good anime as well, too bad the lead sucks as a character :/
I hope this will be more Onegai Teacher-like, not Twins, though

I'm downloading Teacher, and Twins, but my friend always refers to it as Please Teacher. I know that onegai means please, but I NEVER hear ANYONE say please but him. What a strange guy.

Well, it's not like none of it is good though.
Azumanga Daioh especially made me and one of my roomates laugh our asses off. Both of the Full Metal Panics are really funny as well. Chobits was funny, at least at the beginning anyway.

Yeah, I enjoyed GTO, as you can probably tell. There are exceptions. I like Love Hina, don't get me wrong, it's just that the whole punching thing got old. And I can guarentee you, someone was laughing their ass off, EVERYTIME.

They call it Please Teacher because that's what Bandai decided to do with the title...translate it and make it sound odd for anyone watching Twins and now Friends
Please Twins? Please Friends? Ok, who in marketing thought this was a good idea?
Personally, I hope it's good, not holding my breath, I enjoyed the other two

I loved teacher, but twins dissappointed me. i did enjoy the oav for twins though since it actually wrapped up some loose ends and was closer to onegai teacher (or at least it's oav/13th episode) than the rest of the series. onegai friends though? i really, really hope the saw what happened with twins and steer it back towards teacher.

There was a short article online about Onegai Friends a week ago. It's only going to be 2-3 eps long. They realised they didn't have the material required for a 13 ep series.

Let's just say that I hope it's better than OT's, and I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be.

For a refresher to this...apparently Onegai Friends is going to be a Drama CD and not a series. As of right now there's no word whether the CD will be transitioned to an anime series.

i can't believe they can't find enough material for 13 episodes. and does anyone have a link for these articles, the one i saw posted before either here or another topic was broke. and can some one tell me what a "drama CD" is?

Basically Drama CDs are a narrative of the story...think Radio Shows.

I was hoping that wasn't the answer, but who knows what they will actually do. i liked it for the animation a lot, so i don't know how good they could make a drama cd.

A lot of animes are made from Drama CDs, as are a lot of Drama CDs made from anime...so don't lose too much hope in it
I'm sure, with the popularity of the Onegai series, that Bandai will be willing to push for a series.

So a drama CD is like audio? I know I heard that they were doing Onegai Friends as a drama CD .. I have never seen nor heard of one before though.. Sounds weird.. Am I way off base here?

Actually you're on the right path.. Drama CDs tend to be basically a narrative of the script. Dependant on the company that does them I've heard both full-casted voices and a single narrative voice stories. I'm expecting, however, that this one will be a full voice cast, would seem rather odd to have a single voice doing all of the roles

The best way to describe Drama CDs are that you take an anime and turn it into a radio show.
Think of the classic War of the Worlds, it originally was a radio show.
They are fairly popular in Japan according to my friends.

I believe they are both licensed.. You can find Onegai teacher on various anime selling websites, and also probably at your local anime distributor.

Yeah, since the liceense, it disappeared from the torrents in a flash.
However, the DVD release in America is coming pretty soon. And with the OAV being licensed as well, expect a full series release to be happening pretty quickly.
I have one concern though: How much of this series are they going to edit?! There is NO WAY it's getting through unscathed. You just get the feeling they might wreck the whole story if they pick at it like they usually do...

Bandai, for all intents and purposes, has been pretty good as of late with their scissors...I don't expect them to slice much out of OTwins, if anything. I mean, honestly the story works itself out of the whole incest theme on it's own well enough without any editing.

I hope this one won't turn out like Onegai Twins..I mean it was an okay series but I guess I just wanted more of Kei and Mizuho...Besides there were too many side-stories in Onegai Twins and it didn't really tie up the loose strings in the end =\

Have you tried google? http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=LACA-5306
It's a drama CD and NOT an anime!
Please drop this topic people!
