I've some questions about this anime. I am considering watching this anime. However, I don't wanna start it and then be dissapointed. A couple of my friends think it's a great anime, but I'm skeptical.
First, is this anime any good?
Second, is this a yaoi anime and to what degree?
Third, how mythologically accurate is it?
thanks for yer help

Ragnarok is quite good and no, it is not a yaoi anime at all. As for mythological accuracy, it takes a lot of liberties with the characters (it is largely a comedy after all) but the names and references are correct.

I watched the first two episodes.
It reminds me of that Magic Users Club anime with a touch of a bland Excel from Excel Saga. I really didn't like Magic Users Club and Ragnarok isn't much different. I'd probably give it a 6.5/10 based off of the first two eps. It was already showing a repetativeness that I've not seen since Sailor Moon.

At least watch the third episode, that's when Heimdall shows up and the backstory starts really kicking in.

The first two eps of Ragnarok don't really tell much about the plot...
They are just episodes where they goof around and try to lure the viewer into watching more....It gets more serious later on...

peippo - this is quite an old thread. the time stamp on the post before yours says it all.
usually we lock threads which are quite QUITE old. but i'll leave this.. maybe the discussion will be revived.. even though i think animal might have already come to a decision by now. ^^
