Chobits 2?

Never heard of that rumor. They really dont have anything to continue. They could do a movie or an OVA but they cant make a second season with nothing to continue.

of course they could continue it, if they wanted to.
Even if most people say there isnt anything to continue, maybe the authors have a lot more in mind that just that, so ya never know. Very Happy

there IS a new series starting, i don't know yet how many eps they'll make, but there is the first ep out...it's called Chibits and it seems like it's dedicated to sumomo and the other litte persocom *or however you spell that..*
it's just a very short ep though Sad

i only saw the first ep, so i can't say if it's dediacted to those two...but i sure hope not...
a fact is: they didn't use chii's original vioce in that season Sad

I saw Chibits 00, i thought it extremely hilarious, and yeah i was upset that they didnt use the original voice actress but that happens i guess.
Im looking forward to more episodes.

What exactly is the plot of it? I just cant see how they can continue the story. But they might be able to make a prelude........Is that what they did?

I thought Chibits was just a one-off short episode that wasn't at all meant to create a series. I liked Kotoko even less than Sumomo. Kotoko wasn't any fun at all.

You guys should read the chobits manga... It explains things better than anime... like in anime there werent any quotes to angelic layer... like the guy who invented persocoms invented also angelic layer... and if you have seen the angelic layer anime you can see that minorus sister was one of those girls in angelic layer and Kaeda was her name...

I see what you mean.. Any way i figured i would have to cut some of this.. You might also have to edit the border as it might have come off.. oops.. lol late night photoediting is a bitch.. anyway

Take 1 I just shrunk it down without cutting anything

Take 2.. I cut a bit off and shrunk it some as well..

Take 3.. I cut a lot but only shrank a little..

That is the best i could do.. and as i said you will have to replace the border, but any of those will work within the size limitations of a signature.. I hope this is of some help to you..

Edit.. LoL looking at it the first one i did is the same as yours.. the others are just a bit cut away to bring out more.. i guess you have to decide what you want to do.. and while i am thinking about it i need to add a border to my signature as well.. i think that would make it look better.. probably do that tomorrow though..

Chobits was definitely an unforgettable experience.

I would like the creators of Chobits to maybe create another, sort of, similar series. I'm talking around the lines of the Final Fantasy series, where each installment is completely different to the other. Or something like the Onegai series where Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins were practically completely different anime but set in the same universe.

I just wanna' relive Chobits all over again! Doesn't everyone who have seen the series?

It'd been nice, but unless we take a totally different tack, and use a different Persocom-Human pair, I just don't see it working. Unless you want to go the "accidentally restarting Chi" route, in which case you might as well re-start Hideki too, or put him out of the picture, and deal with a post-Hideki Chi

I wish their would be a sequel to chobits. i dont think they would have to change anything with hideki and chi, exept mabey show them getting "closer" and mabey throw in a few new plot twists. after all they went through, id hate to see them be broken appart and start new relationships. chobits is something i could have watched 100 episodes or more of and still not get sick of it. theres so much more that can be done with this series and so much more things for chi to learn, atleast thats what i think.
