  neon genesis meaning?
Hey everyone i know people are trying to analyze this and im not ever sure anyone will ever get the right answer. I was looking at commentaries with the writers and he said that all religeous affliliations were just to look cool. But what i notice that at the start of every episode there is a tree i can read some of it but its a hebrew symbol. Thinks links to judaism as well as some of the angels fit those of the torah or bible. The magi deals with the three personalities or something like that while in the judaism tree these three magis are illustrated to be the same way. Lol im not trying to be confusing but my question is this.... why did the producers intertwine so much religeon and then say that there was no deep meaning to it. haha maybe im just a silly jew but it seems to me that they know way too much for this to be coincidental. just curious for opinions...... this whole show mindfu**ed me pretty much.

 don't take it too deeply.

i've heard something about japanese people being fascinated by western religion/mythology, so they incorporate it alot in their anime.

just makes it more fascinating on a superficial level
