I actually have a list of my favorite 100 OP and EDs, as well, but I think I'll nominate five random OP/ED from my top lists that haven't been nominated yet. Plus, that list is uber old, and it keeps shifting from time to time, so it doesn't really stay in one measure. But for the time and effort it took to compile, it was worth it.

I have a question for when we vote. Do we vote the TV size song (as in, 1:30 length) or do we vote the entire song? The difference is rather small, but in some cases it might make a difference with how I'd vote since some songs only really get a move on later on (i.e. Katayoku no Tori).

Also, if we vote the TV size version, I presume we ignore all the visuals to the song?

I would like to think anyone can vote for any iteration of the opening they choose. I also believe people should be able to consider the visuals if they so desire.

But that is just my opinion. Ken is running it so it's his call.

I'd rather we don't have too many restrictions. TV-size or full length is OK. Whether you consider the visuals and whether it adds to your enjoyment of the song, it's your call too.

Personally I only download full length songs and listen to those. And I agree sometimes a song can be better if full length or vice versa. Just vote for the better version. Afterall, this is just a game for our enjoyment. No need to be too serious.

Well, if you nominated a song that's already been nominated by someone else, you've just wasted a chance to nominate a different song.

So, if you did that, it's OK to go back and edit your nominations if you have a 6th or even 7th choice. I'm flexible on this. Heck,if you think you really wanted to nominate more songs, go ahead. I'll take the first 64 (different) songs I count from the start of this thread.

I know 5 nominations is a maybe too little, but I need to keep this manageable.

Last Dinosaur is accepted as the 'other theme' since FLCL never had an opening theme per se. However, it was used as preview music at the end of each episode, so it was a regular. Last Dinosaur is as much the heart and soul of FLCL as Ride On Shooting Star was.

I'll keep Last Dinosaur on the list of nominees. As for Daizengar's nominees, I think I can still take them.

I think a nice number of contestants would be 90. I'll run the first round with 5 contestants per contest instead of the usual 4.

Let's see. 2 weeks to finish round 1. 45 contestants in 9 contests per week. I'll end up with a total of 10 going into round 2 at the end of week 2. I'll have 2 contestants per contest in 5 contests in week 2. I'll end up with 5 going into week 3. Then all 5 will face off for the top 3 positions, based on vote counts? This is going to be one of the shortest-duration contests ever. 4 weeks to run in its entirety.

How does that sound?
