  Humans + Gears: Xenogears ReMix released
Xenogears, the spiritual precursor to the Xenosaga trilogy on the PS2 was a phenomenal RPG released way back when on the PS1, only to be crushed in terms of sales by another game released during the same period, Final Fantasy VII, and a proper sequel was never done (although it thankfully didn't need one). Still, it's considered one of the best RPG's ever made, and has a very loyal fanbase (I still remember picking this up in the store back in the 90's), however what made this game stand out from the rest in particular was the absolutely brilliant soundtrack.

OverClock ReMix, the folks behind some of the best remixes in videogame music (recently with the street fighter series which Capcom commissioned) has released their remix of the Xenogears soundtrack, and it's now available as a free download. It's a massive 1.07 gig torrent, which contains it in both MP3 format as well as FLAC.



You can get it here from their website, and get each song individually, or get the mega torrent by clicking on the link on the right side.

I personally like listening to the first song, Quickening.

 Great, thanks for sharing. I'm on track 15 of the humans part and it sounds quite fine. One problem though... I've only recognised 3 songs so far. :/ Is it just me or are the songs so different from the originals that it's hard to recognize them? Let's see... it's been at least 1 year (might be even 2) since I played Xenogears the last time, maybe that's the reason.

On a random note, pretty nice lead guitars in some parts.

i've probably listened to maybe 5 songs on the human album, i've recognized 3-4 out of the 5.

I like the album, but I still prefer, when it comes to Xenogears, at least, the Creid Album. Now, that was a fantastic album.
