PVC Figures So, I'm not as big into Anime as I used to be - although I still attend cons atleast once or twice a year and I collect PVC figures. I'll post some pics of my rather small collection soon, but I figured we could have a thread to discuss what we have and want and possibly trade or sell figures. :]
Currently here is what I wish I had money to buy, lol:

PVC figures are fun. I have a couple doubles somewhere I could spare, if I can find them. I kept getting Kikyo in the first series of blindbox Inuyasha figures. In a whole case at the comic shop, I pulled every Kikyo. I'm sure I still have another Kikyo around.

There was a thread on the issue of figures and what not so perhaps using the large thread would work out better.
http://www.animenfo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11396
Also if something like models would count for that I would gladly aid in the resurrection of the topic.

wah you locked my old thread! i was going to revive it, too.
but yeah, one of the reasons why i stopped posting there was b/c i was on the fine line between wanting to buy PVC or pre-made kits, which are much more expensive

got few figures, lets see if i can find piccies of em all.
also, im not too sure what does the "PVC" stand for... think my
tsukihime figures dont have tag like "PVC"
my newest(if that is even a word) figure:
http://www.hlj.com/product/SOL49063
think this was my first figure (though mine is pink instead of white)
http://www.hlj.com/product/SEGH1725-B
these tsukihime figures arent too high-detailed..
though they DO look better what they seem in thouse pics...

nice figures you have there. iirc, pvc is a type of plastic material. so it just means what your figures are made out of. i believe ALL plastic figures these day are mostly made of PVC. The only exception are figures that require some 'stronger' plastics, which is ABS, but you won't find PVC+ABS figures except for the $60USD+ ones.
I haven't bought figures in a long time. Still looking for good ones. I'm so happy about my Lafiel from Crest of the Satrs PVC figure though :P rare item!

Me neither. Running out of space and not sure how much longer I'm staying where I'm currently living so decided not to add to the collection I have so far.
For those that missed what I have then links are available in the contents of collection thread.
Wouldn't mind a good Lafiel figure (who wouldn't) and perhaps Revy and Deunan. Other than that, I'm not sure of anything else.

ok, so I told about animecon coming and about the possibilites of me buying
new figures. Well ladies gentlemen, Im here to tell you sad news:
There was NOTHING of my intrest to be found from there just a bounch of fastly made naruto/bleach figures.(I dunno what are NON-high detailed figures called.. so I call em fastly made figures D: ) Though there was one "nice" figure, witch was i believe 1/8 scaled yoko figure and was HIGHLY owerpriced... its price was 95€uros which is total ripoff price for 1/8 scale figure even when its pretty detailed. I think Iv seen the same figure to go for 30€ at some sites not too sure though.
sorry for the bad news, maybe the next time I will post in here, Ill have a figure to show >_<

Now you've made me start another totally useless hobby that I'll probably spend way too much money on and then go broke and have to live in a dump somewhere...
I downloaded Otomanias Ievan Polkka featuring Miku and haven't heard any other music since. Suddenly I wanted to check if there was any figures of her, so...:

Just got into the hobby of buying figures this past years and I have to say...I'm in heaven. It's like the ol' saying, " Once you pop, you can't stop." Can't say it's been easy on my wallet.
So far, I've only been buying at cons and just aiming for the $20-$30 figures. I go for numbers over quality although that might change soon after I get a new place.
I'd post pics of my figures once I get a camera.
BTW, anyone recommend any good Saber and Ciel figures? There are lots, but I just don't know where to begin.

I second that. Figure looks really nice, makes a nice centerpiece for your other collections. I bet it's somewhere between the $60-$70 price range.

It's a little less tacky than the Rei one that goes with it though I do like the idea of the NERV logo on the bases when you combine the two.
