New Twelve Kindgoms story in yom yom Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! ... (I'm copying a post that I've made elsewhere, but many people should be interested in this here.)
I didn't see this mentioned here, but there are reports that Ono put out a new Juuni Kokki story in the fiction magazine yom yom . It is reported to be set in the kingdom of Kei, titled Hisho no Tori , and will be 90 pages.
We probably won't be getting the translation of it anytime soon, but it does bode well for the future of this franchise if Ono is still writing and releasing stories.
To me, it's sounding like the story is a one-off, but I have so little information (and I can't read Japanese).

That is a good piece of news..but still I am on the fence on this one-hope she doesnt go on a hiatus again but nonetheless the infinite long time that people have been made to wait for the incompleteness of the series is going to be fruitful in the hope that the series could be animated in the future now that Ono has resumed writing. For that to happen it would take 4-5 or even more years and by that time I would have watched many other anime too.

I'm glad that 12 Kingdoms is picking up again, if even so that I can read it as an extention.
I still haven't finished the series or bought the novels associated with 12 Kingdoms, but I definitely plan on doing so.

This is really good news, but I doubt the anime will ever be picked up again.

Well this atleast proves that she is thinking *something* about the series and has not kept it on a shelf. So all in all, good news!
