Sorry that the title of my post is a little misleading... (for those that thought I'd be making suggestions for EL)

I recently started watching anime, and so I don't know many good anime series at all. I watched Elfen Lied after having a friend recommend it to me - now I'm pretty addicted to anime Confused...

Anyways, I absolutely loved EL for its characters, storyline etc... To those of you that know a little more about various animes, and liked Elfen Lied a lot, I was hoping you could recommend a few other animes that I could check out.

If you'd like to ask for recommendations on a certain genre the first thread is where you need to go..
