  are the end credit pictures disturbing to you?
i just watched the first episode, and in the end of the credits, they show the bunch of lines that then shows rosette and aion to be seemingly naked. in the last slide it looks like rosette has a finger over her mouth like shes going 'sssshhh', and then it pans to chrno, who looks like hes 'holding back'.

 I don't remember those scenes. But if they're as what you described, then yes, I would find them disturbing.

It may have been edited out from my locally-licensed version.

For example, in Infinite Ryvius, there's a still picture that's showed in the intermission between each of the 2 episodes on the VCD that says "Revise Us". It looks like a crayon painting, done in negative. I believe that's some sort of "extra" they threw in. It's not found on most anime discs. The slides you mentioned could have been of the same nature, and therefore may not have been included in the CC discs I have.

Is it an actual segment of the closing sequence? Or does it come after the closing sequence?

 it occurs during the ending sequence. its the slides right before they show that artifact thing that she wears around her neck and a preview of the next episode.

I'll have to check it out (when I have the time). I seriously can't remember that scene and it's been a long time since I last watched CC.

 Ok I'm sorry, but I can't just sit back and read this nonsense.

Firstly, I suggest you go back and re-watch the entire Chrono Crusade series, as it is clear you were not paying enough attention.

The credits are displaying all the major characters, starting with Rosette, Joshua, *unknown*, satella, azmaria then chrono.

As for them being nude? Yeah what? It's anime for you. if you can't deal with the shoulders bared, then I suggest you just stop now, because things get a lot worse in other anime.

The ending credits for Chrono Crusade are one of my favorites (the top spot belonging to Haruhi Suzumiya) with it's really beautiful theme and nicely drawn animation.
