Kiddy Girl ep1 - I presume the manic crack-snorting ditz is the main character? Bleagh! On the other hand, I like the other girl. I'll catch a couple more eps before deciding whether or not to follow this.
Kimi ni Todoke ep4 - A twist I didn't expect, but, in the end, the story still reached its anticipated situation. All in, this ep was less eye-rollingly painful than I was expecting. A decent enough ep.

Kiddy Girl? Any relation to Kiddy Grade?
Found something that looks more ecchriffic at the video store, and can't find anything on it at all in the nfo database. Title Ah, my Buddha . Thought that I'd pick that up, but I haven't watched any yet.
For Code Geas , I was hoping to get the next season but it isn't yet available for rent. I guess that gives me the choice to wait or download... I wonder if I can find high def...
I suppose that I have a lot more of UFO Princess Valkyrie to go through. I've got all 4 seasons.

Sequel. New main characters and a number of returning cast.

Ah My Buddha could have been really good if they had put some more thought into it. It's decent given what it is but not outstanding.

Yeah... Google is my friend.
Bits and pieces. Mostly I got through a few more episodes of UFO Princess Valkyrie season 2. (For some reason which makes no sense at all, it's titled here as UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie . Why can't these people just leave the titles alone?! If you must translate them, then I suppose that's one thing, but why mess with it for the sake of messing wih it?)
I watched ep 1 of Ah my Buddha . Um... Yeah, it's definitely echiriffic.

Sacred Blacksmith ep5 - Not much bearing on the current story, but roughly a quarter of the ep was spent further fleshing out the world and the characters. But the best part is Lisa's fashion show.

OK, so i watched the first series of Negima. Fair enough, it was alright. I liked it. Then I saw the "revamp" or "series 2" whatever it is.
Didn't like it, I think they ruined it. Can't beat originality and the took out the fate guys. They only appeared in 2 eps as it is in the first series.
So Series 1: Good.
Series 2: Bad.
Should have just continued it to the tournament arc instead of a shitty revamp where they cute away half the good stuff.

Ep 2-5 of Ah my Buddha . Plot? Not one that I can see.
On the DVD extras, saw a preview for Bludgeoning Angel Dokoro-chan -- that just looks SO wrong... I think I'm going to see if I can rent it, just because. I realise that the previews are seldom all that representative of the actual work, but that's either going to be a train wreck or hilarious. It's (probably) worth $4.00 to see, and if not... Well, then I'll know.

Dokoro-chan looks great. I've read bits of the manga.

Dokoro-chan is kinda unusual...
But I wouldn't say it's worth the time past the first 1-2 episodes.

Oh, I was amused by the sheer absurdity of Dokoro-chan, but after a while it's simply too much of the same.

Taneyamagahara no Yoru (say that in one second and I'll give you a 100 bucks ). This was actually released as DVD extra with Ged Senki but for some reason, it got subbed only now. Very charming bit of work and a good quick watch as well - just 27 minutes.

Well, I stopped by the rental place. 1 rental, 2DVD pack, 12 episodes. read the DVD cover blurb. If all the women stop aging at age 12, then I guess this is going to be full of lolicon... Doesn't do much for me, but whatever.

I remember Dokuro-chan. It's worth watching once. No more than once. It's only an OVA, so it was short, but watching past the 5th ep was painful. And I never did get the 2nd season.

Watched the first disk. of Dokuro Chan . Uh... It has its moments of being very funny. And then it has the rest of it.
I'll give the second disk a watch, but (as expected) it's not going to make it into my lkist of favorites.
I also finished season 2 of UFO Princess Valkyrie . Well, there seemed to be a story to the second season. Not a particularly deep one, but at least there was a story.

Since there is nothing good in this season: Kimagure Orange Road 1-4 rewatch. Thankfully a group has started subbing this using the remastered DVDs so the quality of the animation has gone up by several notches.

Sacred Blacksmith ep6 - For an ep with so much fighting, it's incredibly boring.

Disk 2 of Dokuro Chan . More of the same, plus a bath scene or two.
Disk 3 of Ah, my Buddha eps 9-12 + bonus OVA. It seems like someone tried to insert a story in there as an afterthought. I guess that it does tie in to bits and pieces of hints dropped earlier in the series, but never managed to amount to much.
What I don't get: This was in the regular anime section at the video rental place, while Girls Bravo is in the hentai section... If anything, it should be the other way 'round. You never see nipples in Girls Bravo -- you certainly do in this one. I may bring that up with them next time I visit. Probably today.

You don't? The DVD version has no concealing steam and stuff...
On topic:
Asura Cryin 2 ep 4 - Unexpectedly good, with at least 3 twists to the story. This ep is one of the gems which keeps me following this series.
Shakugan no Shana S ep 1 - A new season? I don't think I've heard anything about it. A light ep that's only so-so.

It's the DVD version that I saw, and while I can remember seeing breasts, I don't remember them having nipples... (I remember thinking that they were Barbie doll breasts.) Maybe I'll give it a quick skim-over watch again... I don't think that I really want to re-watch the whole series over.

Everything is censored on TV and uncensored on DVD/Blu-Ray these days. Because anime companies realised doing this causes people to buy their product, even if the series itself is crap.

Okay, a random spot-check of a few bath scenes, and I guess that there are nipples. It's just that the shots are brief, and relatively far off, which is why I forgot about it totally, I guess.

Examples of this season's censorship:
- Scared Blacksmith censored Cecile's nipples several times. The announcement that they would be uncensored on DVD/Blu-Ray caused pre-order numbers to go from near non-existent to high.
- Nyan Koi is covered all panty shots with inconspicuous black.
- Sora no Otoshimo is censoring the usual body parts.
It's a gimmick that's getting them sales. Show it uncensored on DVD/Blu-Ray = profit. That sums up most of October.

The uncensored Princess Lover is worth getting. Lots of panty-shots, and breasts with nipples. At the end of the 1st ep, there was a scene with Charlotte in a sheer negligee. And I mean sheer. You can't realise how sheer it is unless you see the DVD.
In the old days, panty-shots weren't censored. Remember Rosario+Vampire? Instead, TV material was inferior in quality.

LOL! I guess I watch enough stuff from DVD, and not broadcast rips that I didn't realise that panty shots were censored at all, there certainly seem to be enough of them. (Hmm, even on some recently aired fansubs that I have, where there was definitely other censorship... Maybe it's a function of what timeslot the show aired at? Dunno.)
Watched eps 1-4 of Dojin Work . Interesting. On the surface, it's similar in nature to Comic Party in that someone who otherwise wasn't aware of the dojin world gets suckecd into doing their own dojin manga. It naturally features many of the same settings. The humor is directed differently, though. I found parts of it very funny. The "live action" features where the seiyuu are instructed to do their own dojin is ... kind of cool, with occasional flashes of painful.
It doesn't appear that this is going to have a particularly deep, meaningful story, but it doesn't look like it's going to be a moe/ecchi fest either. I kind of like the main cast of characters.
I think, however, that there's more to the series than what I have, which is going to seriously piss me off if there's another DVD and the rental place doesn't get it. (It took me FOREVER to rent Comic Party because they were always missing volume 2.)

Nyan Koi ep2-4 - Another unwanted harem being built. *sigh* With probably 2 more eps of harem building still to come. *sigh* Still, for light entertainment, this is decent enough.
11eyes ep5 - Decent.

Ahhh, haven't been here in awhile. I hope you're all doing well. I just finally started watching some anime, after like half a yea+ hiatus.
Finished Princess Lover - Eh, ending was lackluster. It needs a more definitive and less unbelievable ending. Everything just became so out of proportion, I almost stopped watching it.
Bleach 22X- 244 - I skipped some of the boring fillers, but I am now caught up to one of my dream battles. I hope they make it good.
Bakemonogatari 7-13 Wow, what a nice view he gets on episode 7 lol. He sure gets the weirdest chicks. I seriously can't wait for ep 14. Poor guy just gets tortured/teased to hell. I'm almost envious lol.
Edit: Spice and Wolf II 9-12 - Eh... I should be pretty satisfied with how it ended, but i'm not. Quote: The whole confession from him and the kiss was nice, but was seriously missing "magic". The halfway confession of her love for him wasn't that great either. I'm thinking season 3?

Akikan OVA - Onsen trip. Unfortunately, all the "interesting" bits are blocked by conveniently-awkwardly placed arms, towels, people, objects, etc.
Nyan Koi ep1 - Yeah, I watched ep1 after ep2-4 because ep1 took longer to download.
Kimi ni Todoke - ep5-6 - Aww... How sweet!

Hurray for the Internet.
I finished Dojin Work , only the animated segments, I had to leave the live action segments behind after episode 8. (And now I want to see the end of that, so I'll have to wait for the last disc to become available.)
Not sure why, but this series made me laugh aloud, more than anything has since episode 5 of Golden Boy . I may not wait for the rentla place to get the last disc of this, I might just buy them. Not exactly sure WHY this made me laugh so much and more than most everything else. I think it's because although you can see that a gag is coming a mile away, by the time it arrives it's gone above and beyond what you expect, and they manage to keep it up without dropping the ball.
Maybe it's just me...

I wish you hadn't mentioned that...now I'm going to have to download it just so I can add it to my collection even if I never watch it.

Only 82G? That's not that big.
I seem to have run out of material to watch. I've got a couple of series that are on hold, waiting for the people who were watching it with me to get back to it, though, so I'll probably take one of those up.

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - Purezza 1-6 - After completing Spice and Wolf II and Pandora Hearts just to be disappointed, NHnH did a fine job boosting my mood. I just wish I wasn't already halfway finished with this season. Quote: I really hope Haruka finds out Yuuto was the one that gave her that book when they were young.
Kampfer 1-6 - Wow, another trap/yuri-ish fest. This is probably the first time I'm not rooting for the supposed female lead. I find her some what annoying. The eyes in this series are a little awkward too, but not too hard to get passed that.

This show continues to amaze me. The allegories are amazing, on par with the best I've ever seen. The whole metaphor surrounding Maria is brilliantly done and ever so closely connected to the rest of the entourage.
This show is truly great, I just wish it had received a better studio to take care of the animation. Well.
Ookamikakushi to come in winter.
