I intentionally don't watch anything made before 1998. Miracle I got that close.

LOL! I was watching anime before 1998... Though I never did watch much of the mahou shoujo genre.

Same here, but I did start watching more of this genre starting from the early 2000s. Pretty Sammi, etc. Blame that on Aoi-chan.

So...where's the new picture? Daizengar has definitely been on since Rose verified him as being right.

You posted a guy?!?! How could you?!?! I've got no idea. I don't recall any school uniforms with an upturned collar.

I actually think you might be right. I couldn't tell who he was with his eyes closed but then again, I think that's the difficulty level. XD

1. I'd recognise those character designs anywhere.
2. Yes, AJAS did play the Wallflower...for ONE episode. We banned it for eternity right after. (While Ouran ended up at #5 on the 2006 poll....go figure)
3. ANN and other places have hawked The Wallflower for years...hard not to have seen those faces.
Okay, let's see how quickly this one goes. Probably within 2 hours, like all of mine do.

Oooooooooooookay, looks like it's time for some hints!
Quote: It came out last year. The anime is separated into 2 parts. This guy appears only in the first part (I believe, not sure, because I didn't actually watch this series)
Quote: The title of the anime is composed of two names: the first name of the female protagonist in the first part, and then the name of the female protagonist in the second part.

Damn! I'm no good with newish stuff. And I'm too lazy to bother with looking up hints. So if it doesn't immediately come to mind, I won't bother trying. Unless prompted to.

I only saw ep 1 before putting it on hold. I don't think I saw this guy in ep 1.

Well, I thought Allison to Lillia was a good series all in all. Not the best I've seen in its genre, but certainly not a waste of time by any measure of the word. Just my opinion though.

Yeah, I liked what I saw in ep 1. But I was so busy with other stuff. I haven't watched anything in weeks already.

But it's still holds the title for most unintentionally funny scene ever. The only thing I learned from Allison and Lillia is from that clip, and that is:
Stare into the eyes of the bad guy and he will be blown off the roof while your feet remain miraculously stuck to the ground.

I know this one, although I admit I had to look up the series to get the character's name.

Wow! that was fast!
Yep. Hope that bruise doesn't hurt too much, Ken. I figured that the least that I could do was use a picture that had the school uniform in it.

It does. It hurts so much. Especially when I really loved this anime so much but after 2 years I can barely remember any of the characters.
I need a new table too.

@Ken: I was halfways expecting you to get that right away, since I remembered that you thought highly of the series.
Hmmm... Don't think that I've seen the series that image came from.

Oh, you know that feeling you get when you just know you've seen that face before and then you can't remember who she is. It's not a nice feeling. I have a thing for faces and eyes. Remember them. Just not the names.
Likewise, that pic Mauvecloud posted. I recognize that character design. May have seen the anime before. Just can't remember a thing. I wonder if this "overworked" stuff is getting to me and my health.

No actual guesses yet. I guess I can start with the hints, though I will try to space them out.

She looks very familiar to me, but I can't place her name. It's probably been several years since I've seen that series.

I've got a strong feeling she's from the anime . Character design tells me so. Just can't remember her name. I haven't seen all of that anime anyway. And it's from so many years ago.

Incorrect. I don't think that series fits the second half of my second hint. In fact,
Quote: I can't confirm that Zenki ever actually "aired" in the US, though it does seem to be available on DVD as Zenki Saga, so I've added it to my rental queue.

Well, my first impression was that the character design was from the right period, so at least I got that right. No idea on her identity though.
