  El Hazard multiples
What is the difference in each El Hazard series? Why couldn't they just throw it all together and call it El Hazard?

 El-Hazard: The Magnificient World--First OVA series (IMO the best)
El-Hazard 2--The second OVA series (if you buy the 'box' it comes with both OVA series though its not really worth watching IMHO)
El-Hazard: The Alternate World--followup that continues after the OVAs
El-Hazard: The Wonderers--spin-off with a different timeline.

Each series is very different, enough so that even if you liked the first OVA you might hate the rest, or if you like The Wonderers you might hate the OVAs. Therefore they aren't all put under El-Hazard
