| Yuji, a high school teenager, is diagnosed with an incurable new virus, but this doesn't mean that his life is over. He decides to place his hopes in a future cure and enters artificial hibernation. In the year 2013, Yuji wakes to find himself in the midst of a war, a time of despair and death.
The earth is full of BLUE, a mysterious creature that eats anything for food, including human beings. Humanity is on the verge of extinction and those remaining have evacuated to a space station. The only way for humans to survive is to destroy BLUE!
Yuji joins in this battle for the survival of the human race!
